Mercury has been having its way with me these past few weeks. I truly thought I was making it through unscathed but explained why it was behaving and then misbehaving. It’s the lack of Leo in my chart. I feel that.

Snafus, misspeaking, misdirections, misfiring, all of it. It goes direct tomorrow. I’m traveling today so, to be continued.

That’s a picture of me at Hendrick Hudson Library on Friday leading “A Journey Through the Chakras” workshop. Mercury tried very hard to prevent that from happening but peace prevailed.

Just added this little doll to my pre-session protocol. Four drops and I can totally feel a heightening of my intuition.

As with every product that I try from there’s a true felt sense that it’s actually working. And she’s local so big claps all around.

Me and the moon go way back. I started to commune with her when I lived on a mountain top in the 1980’s. I would lay sprawled out on my back under her light. The back body rooted and front body skyward. She appeared to me as the Huntress Diana. Unbeknownst to me she was the Goddess of Nature of the Countryside. She encouraged me to move through a pivotal crossroads. She is the Goddess of such.

I hope this Blue Moon invites you to lay open to its message.

I was completely gonzo off to another astral plane when I was giving Reiki. Deep Ujjayi breathing brought me back into my body or else I’d still be floating round out there. I’ve been too excited to even sleep!

Tonight, we found our center . We talked about why grounding is so important and how to get some.

I love when folks share with me what happens for them during the Reiki portion of the program. Like knowing someone’s third eye is in disharmony and them asking me why they saw purple above their eyes always get me tripping.

Then I scrambled up a mountain to Pratt Rock to witness “The Mount Rushmore of New York”. Root Chakra tonifying for sure.

Busiest week since opening HVMR six years ago!!! Workshops and Reiki and Meditation, Oh My. Turns out a lot of people want peace in their hearts and minds. I’m here for every delicious moment.

Supposed to be in Chicago visiting our daughter and son-in-law right now but after two failed attempt’s the window on this much anticipated trip has closed.

In one month, I’ve gone from never having flights cancelled to having three flights cancelled. One stuck us in the Mojave Desert and the others have kept us here in New York.
WTF UNIVERSE?!?! Mercury isn’t even in retrograde, sister!

I turned to inquiry and I discovered that because of the extreme heat this last month, my usual nature connectivity was gone. This rules my Root Chakra, the one that when balanced makes me feel centered and solid. My mind might be up in the air but my body obviously wants to stay on the ground.

I was excited by the prospect of the plane being a portal this summer. I guess not. Instead it will happen here on the ground and with the water. The element of the Sacral Chakra. The ruler of feelings. I must ask myself what is it that I’m trying not to feel or maybe need to feel more of? I love this part. The investigation.

Ultimately, nature is always the portal to connecting with messages from my energy system.

Our peace is being robbed. Why should those of us who want to live a peaceable life suffer civil unrest? It has taken every mindfulness tactic that I know to try and stay solid today.

I grimace at my Scorpio nature sometimes. To be born able to see the ending at the beginning is not an easy ride.

Last year, at one of my meditation events, I told the participants that I was giving my Inner Critic the summer off. And it went really well. I was fully in body without judgement. This summer, I've decided to try and slow down time. Between my daughter's wedding and travel, I've been having a ball but now "it's time to nail my traveling shoes to the kitchen floor". I woke up and realized that the end of June was nearing and I really didn't want to wake up and find that it's the beginning of September. The Hudson Valley is a stone cold fox during this season. So, how?

A young friend recently attended a ten day silent retreat and I sighed and said, "That sounds like heaven." And then she told me that she couldn't bring a book, or electronics or even a notebook. And I imagined that and internally combusted. I can do with meditating and being in silence for very long stretches but not reading or writing? What would I even do with myself? So, that's the point entirely, I guess. Because as much as I love reading and writing, I see that they can distract me from fully being present. What if I just sat by the creek with nothing but me? What if I just went for a walk without my phone? This is what I've started to do. Balance is equally important, so I am falling back in love with Art Journaling. Creating stories with pictures is such a joyful way to be present. But most of all I'm going to deeply consider what i say "yes" to before I say "yes".

I've decided not to do a Guided Meditation event until Wednesday, August 14th at The Lofts in Beacon. I can't wait to see what there will be to share. Tickets will go on sale in July. They sell fast but I promise to go slow.

A very young mom, a single mom, a broke ass broke mom, a married mom, a grieving mom, a much less broke mom, a witchy mom, a swing you on every swing in the state of New York mom, a breathlessly waiting with flowers backstage dance mom, a drunk mom, a sober mom and now an older mom.

There has always been one constant in all of these moms to you….a loving mom. A real love you no matter what till the end of time type of love. An honest to goodness I will let you always see the truth of me and show you how I crawled out from under it all to face that truth love.

Last night’s moon meditation was so very Scorpio Moon in Mercury Retrograde with a touch of post solar eclipse in Aries.

There were mishaps and outdoor adventures by candlelight. I can only speak for me……but the psychic medium messages that I was giving clients all day were even spooking me out….in the very best way. Heightened intuition is happening at HVMR
