School starts in ONE WEEK! Be ready to get involved in all the upcoming back-to-school activities by submitting your Volunteer Application NOW! Everyone needs to REAPPLY to volunteer in the new Raptor system - see below for how to get started today!

If you haven’t done so already, please reapply to be a volunteer in the Beaverton School District. We’re implementing a new volunteer management system over the summer and need time to process and complete the criminal background checks for all applicants.

Start on the Volunteer webpage on the district website. The entire process — including the review of the Child Abuse Prevention & Reporting and Adult Sexual Misconduct training materials — should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

Attention Fir Grove Families - School Supplies, We've Got You Covered! ✏️📓✂️

Fir Grove PTO is committed to providing all necessary school supplies (pencils, paper, markers, etc.) for our entire student population!

The PTO purchases all supplies in bulk and then distributes them to the staff throughout the school year.

Students only need to bring a full size backpack, water bottle, and likely a pair of headphones (check with your student’s teacher).

Although not required, if it is feasible for your family and you would like to contribute to helping the PTO cover the full cost of this year's school supplies, you may donate online via PayPal below to Fir Grove's school supply fund. We estimate that each student's supplies total around $20.

School is starting soon! Here are four tips to help your kindergartener look forward to attending school every day.

📌 Set a regular bedtime and wake-up time a few weeks in advance.
📌 Make up silly songs about everyday routines: getting up, eating breakfast and going to school.
📌 Stoke anticipation. When you drive by the school, say “There’s YOUR school!”
📌 Visit with neighbors to see who’s attending the same school. It’s always fun to have a buddy.
