Recently we helped a family who lost their beloved brother. The police report failed to cite the at-fault driver and other attorneys declined the case. I could feel this family's pain over the phone and just couldn't tell them no. Mize Law Firm turned 15 years old today!!! Like any self respecting 15 year old, we headed straight to the DMV! After teaching lessons to insurance companies for 15 years, today we got our learners. We wanted to celebrate our milestone with everyone at Chili Night, but since it was canceled we took to the streets to give away some money. Was told by a Judge today to save my breath that there was NOTHING I could say to persuade him from a very negative ruling he was about to administer to my client. I DID NOT save my breath. My clients do not pay me to be timid, to back down or to save my breath. My voice is their voice, and I do not have the luxury of taking the easy road and sitting down to be quiet. My breath was not saved, but my client was.

Lawyering is like playing golf, you can be miserable, cussing and stressed out 95% of the time but that one sweet hit reminds you why you love it.
