NCJW Greater Houston Section

We improve the lives of women, children, and families through advocacy and community service.

When you join the Greater Houston Section (GHS) of the National Council of Jewish Women, you become part of a vital organization of 800+ women. GHS helps change lives through informative meetings and with hands-on community service projects addressing such issues as domestic violence, human trafficking, childhood literacy, and Houston’s hungry. GHS is in our schools, our courthouses, our State Houses, on the phone and in the trenches working to change lives every day.

πŸ•―οΈπŸ™ Save a Seat for the Captives πŸ™πŸ•―οΈ

πŸŒŸπŸŒ™ As we enter Shabbat, let's remember the 200+ hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza. Until their safe return, we invite you to save a seat at your Shabbat table in their honor. πŸŒ™πŸŒŸ

πŸ€πŸ”’ While these hostages are unable to be with their families or prepare their own tables, we can show solidarity by reserving seats for them at Shabbat tables around the world. Together, let's raise our voices in prayer for all those kidnapped by Hamas. πŸ™πŸ”’πŸŒ
