It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Delilah Hampton. Delilah peacefully passed away on June 8, 2024. We will all miss Delilah more than words can express.
If you have previously seen Delilah as a patient, it is important that you continue with appropriate medical care; therefore, you should establish contact with another clinician as soon as possible.
To help you find another clinician, the following information is provided:
Option 1: You may wish to continue care at this office. Natalie Tellez, DNP, will gladly take over your care, or there are a number of other qualified physicians who could assume responsibility for your continued care. If you would like to resume care at Hauser Clinic & Associates, please contact our office at 713-669-0303.
Option 2: If you are in a managed care situation, you may need to contact your healthcare insurer for a referral.
We understand that some of you may want to select a new physician outside of our practice. Please be assured that the staff will do everything they can to make the transition smooth and stress free.
Your medical records are confidential and will remain on file with Hauser Clinic & Associates. If you choose another clinician within our organization, you do not need to take any action concerning your records. If you choose a physician outside of our clinic, you will need to contact our office to request a HIPAA-compliant authorization form, and return it completed and signed as soon as possible. On receipt of the signed form, this office will forward a copy of your medical records to you or to the physician you designate.
Sincerely,
The Hauser Clinic & Associates Team

After you discover that someone has lied to you, it may be hard to rebuild trust. But it is possible. Keep these tips in mind:
“Anxiety” is a broad term and can refer to several different types of disorders. For example, phobias and panic disorder are types of anxiety. Learn more about these and other common types:
Hot yoga is done in warm, humid studios, where the temperature could be 105 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s not for everyone, but some scientists believe it might benefit people with depression. (Always check with your healthcare provider before starting any fitness program.)
Following a Mediterranean diet might relieve symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Learn more about a new study:
Distraction could be one way to calm yourself during a panic attack. Try going for a walk, talking to a friend, or spending time with your pet. See other calming tips here:

News cycles run 24/7, and sometimes the steady stream of news triggers stress and anxiety. It may help to take a break from the news and limit social media time.
Knocking on wood is an example of magical thinking—believing that an action or thought affects whether something does or does not happen. For people with OCD, magical thinking can be a powerful force.
Common signs of mental illness include confused thinking, changes in eating and sleeping habits, and avoidance of friends and social activities. Learn more:
A person with an inferiority complex may use self-deprecating humor or talk negatively about themselves. They might also have trouble accepting compliments, thinking that these comments are insincere.
College students with ADHD may need to take some initiative to get accommodations like extended test-taking time and private exam rooms. The school’s disability services office should be able to help. Talking to professors may help as well.
