Great job today Norm! My man added 70 lbs to his max effort squat over 3 months of work.

By working in percentages, varying box heights, rotating different bars, and developing different adaptations we’re able to increase our overall output and increase our absolute strength.

I was in PE. We were outside playing football. The weather was beautiful, sun out, light breeze, everything seemed perfect in the world. The bell was about to ring my gym teacher ( Mr. Romello ) says to me, “two planes just crashed into the World Trade Center.” I remember having a awkward smile on my face not really understanding what he was telling me.

We change over I head down the hall, EVERYONE is talking about it. Each of our teachers wheeled in a tv, plugged it in as the whole school watched what was unfolding. Complete and utter silence in a school of thousands. THIS COUNTRY WAS UNITED!

I remember the following days, every national anthem sung had a different feel. Everywhere was Red White and Blue flags down the streets, hanging off bridges, sky scrapers, and homes everywhere.

Shortly after 9-11-01 I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. To take part, take action, against ANYONE who tries to come on to our soil and destroy our people.

Today, i feel our enemy is domestic just as it is foreign. I swear to defend ALL ENEMIES BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC. Til I die!

Julius has STOLEN VALOR!

When I met Julie in the summer he came up to me Bc he recognized my USMC “oohhrahh” tats all over my body. He proceeded to tell me how he served in my beloved corps. How he has a Purple Heart, how he saved his platoon from incoming fire. How he got sent to Germany to resuscitate him. How he suffers from PTSD.

Approx 3 weeks ago I confronted Julius on said matters. I asked him if he had anything to tell me about his “marine corps experience” he quickly apologized saying, “I’m a piece of sh*t” “I’m sorry” “what can I do to make it up!?” I proceeded to tell him how he’s a liar and scumbag for stealing valor. I let him off the hook easy, in respect to the gym which he was working behind the counter.
When I asked him if he told owners he said give him a minute. I asked him if he said anything to all of my friends mentioned, in which he said, YES I told them all in a group chat. Another lie. As soon as I turned around to ask our friend if he confessed, he ran out the door, hasn’t been contact with anyone of us since.
Julius is a valor stealing, no good piece of trash to be put NICELY.

Allow me to tell you how this scumbag has STOLEN VALOR! He told all of us tagged he was part of my beloved Corps, we believed him. He said he served in Afghanistan, we believed home. He said he had a Purple Heart for saving his fellow marines, we believed him. He said he had PTSD from his experience, we believed him.
you’re one of the biggest pieces of trash I know.

When I confronted him about it, he said he was sorry and wanted to know how he could “make it up to us” .... you can go f**k yourself . You have a lot more coming to you pal....

But..Not only did we believe you, we let you into our group. You STOLE VALOR. Used the marine corps as a crutch to lie to friends and FAMILY! U never served a day in your life. you should ask him what his record looks like.

Closing out 2020 with some amazing men and women !

Today we worked on developing explosive power. For conditioning portion we hit -
Part 1
1) 90lb prowler pushes
1a) lateral med ball smashes
Part 2
2) 90lb prowler pulls
2a) med ball vertical toss

2 rnds 3mins per rnd

Inside we worked on developing and executing power combinations. Ex. 2-3-2; 6-2-3, 5-4-3, and more.

Finally putting it all together at a controlled pace using practical application.

My Journey

My whole life I’ve trained. Began wrestling at 5 years old, active in all sports as well. Boxing, football, baseball, soccer, jiu jitsu, basketball, you name I played it. Nothing made me happier than being around people who just wanted to play growing up.

As I grew through my high school years competing throughout. Right after September 11, 2001 occurred I felt my calling for post-high school was going to be different. I joined up with the United States Marine Corps. Come to find out it was the best decision of my life. I learned so much about myself and other cultures traveling the world. In October 2004 we were deployed to Iraq where I had the honor of serving our country during a time of war. I was blessed enough to be around a outstanding bunch of men and women who helped us come back in once piece.

After the Marine Corp I had troubling fitting into different jobs. I worked as a commercial diver, laborer, welder, oil refinery terminal operator, a cook, and as a personal trainer in club gyms, but nothing satisfied me or challenged me enough. I made the mistake of letting others influence my decision making. I guess I was scared to actually think and act for myself.

Finally, I decided to make the leap and open my own Personal Training business. After years and years of training myself and others it has finally paid off. I’m so grateful and humbled by the opportunities and outpouring from people! I’m truly thankful for everyone that has supported me, helped me, had my back, and for the people who I will cross down the road, I THANK YOU!
