You ever have something you’re REALLY excited about, and like to leave it out somewhere that you walk past regularly so you can pick it up and fo**le it every time you go by? Because same.

I just received this little fella from and it immediately became my favorite knife in my collection. Corey hand makes his knives, and his work is absolutely phenomenal. His eye for proportions and curves is beautifully attuned and this knife is no exception.

Full tang, 1/8” thick spine, canvas mycarta handle, 8” overall length, 3.5” blade. I’ll comment the steel used below, don’t recall off the top of my head.

Expect to see this little guy in a lot of my content, because I am absolutely in love with it. Be sure to follow too, Corey is an awesome human and putting out some real quality work.

The idea for this has been rattling around in my brain for a few months now and I’m absolutely beside myself with the outcome. This was originally designed for my sister, but it’s now my personal go-to day pack for adventures with the family or a day roving through the woods with my bow.

It’s been almost 2 years in the realistic planning stage, and many more years in daydreaming. I am pleased to announce the pre-order availability of my first product—the Finley Goods Canvas Longbow Sleeve.

Designed in collaboration with Ray Fletcher of these longbow sleeves are made of water resistant treated Army Duck canvas and traditional style antiqued hardware with vegetable tanned horsehide leather fixtures, to keep up to a 70” longbow safe and dry in the shop and in the field. Sleeve diameter of 3” will accommodate most longbows and standard styled recurves*. A heavy-duty cotton webbing adjustable strap is included for easy transport.

Priced at $72 with ground shipping included to destinations within the contiguous US. Expedited shipping available for additional fee.

These sleeves are made-to-order (although I am trying to maintain limited on-hand inventory) so please allow 1-2 weeks for completion and shipping. Please specify leather patch desired in your message (Riverbend Longbows or Finley Goods). Patches made of hand-stamped cowhide leather. Riverbend patch sleeves will feature a Finley Goods cotton patch at bottom of the sleeve.
