Abortion Pill Reversal (APR).
Many people don’t know much about medical abortions (with pills instead of surgery) and more than that… most people don’t know about Reversal.

We offer this service and have been part of an international hotline for almost 2 years. We finally had our first APR client in February. We were able to get her the necessary treatment at 3:00am that day and her preborn baby is still alive today! (Pictured below) She had gone out of state for the abortion and changed her mind after taking the first pill (mifepristone). The reversal is not guaranteed (~65% success) but moms who change their minds are willing to try to save their babies. There are no risks to the child, because the mifepristone affects the uterus and the reversal (progesterone) helps the body overcome the action of the mifepristone.

PLEASE…. DO NOT SIGN the petition to get the abortion amendment on the ballot. It’s a bad amendment and would open WIDE Arkansas’ abortion access.

Even my friends who are pro-choice will want to read it carefully…. Abortion for any reason up to 20 weeks gestation. No parental consent. No requirement for education about options or fetal development. Abortion access up to birth for several reasons that are unnecessary. We already have abortion available in the case of saving the life of the mother. In most cases past viability, separation of mother and baby (birth) allows for life of BOTH patients.

This amendment is bad for women and deadly for their offspring. Also… this is NOT a bill. This is a proposed permanent change to the Arkansas Constitution.

I would love to engage in educational and reasonable discussion with anyone. I’m also available to speak at your club meetings or church.

So far this year we have handed out 353 packages of wipes! Praise the Lord.
But now we are running LOW. We need donations of individual packs of wipes. If you can help please drop donations at the Center (120 s Conrad St, Benton Ar) or purchase on our registry and have it delivered!

Our banquet in March was a huge success! We raised over $72,000 and the donations keep coming in! It’s been a busy Spring and we thank Melodye Van Cleave for leading the effort to make such a spectacular event. Our Arkansas Surgeon General, Dr. Kay Chandler, did a great job of highlighting the need for centers like ours. We are on the forefront of maternal-child health in Saline County. We’re thankful for all of our volunteers! Of course, we exist to serve young familes…. BUT, did you know that we minister to each other?!? A new volunteer, VanNa Barnes from Clark & Co Realty, cleaned the front yard this week. Many more volunteers help week after week to make sure God’s love is shown to our community. Is there a place for you? YES!!!!

We are so thankful for Jaima and Susie Cardanas, who donated beautiful handmade (by Susie) crocheted layettes and blankets. They have supported New Beginnings for years and demonstrate their love in action!!! Please pray about ways God can use you to show compassion.

Friends! THANK YOU to all of you who shopped our registry and First Baptist Benton who dropped off all these diapers/wipes this past week. Y’all showed up and showed out!! We are so grateful for y’all and your donations that will bless so many right here in our community.
So far in 2023 we have had over 2,750 visits to our center! 🥳 And we’re not done!! We still have needs that can be shopped in the baby registry on our page or in the comments.

Items for Parents Completing HUGS Bible Study Our mission is to promote the value of life through educating & mentoring young families with biblical teaching and sharing God’s love. We do this by providing free ultrasounds,parenting classes, Bible studies, fatherhood mentoring, diapers, clothing, formula, and other baby items.

Big THANK YOU to Balboa Baptist Church for so much help yesterday. The first group (Sue Leffler) came to sing praises and pray on our porch and the second group did some crazy yard work! The big pecan tree has been trimmed by disaster-relief-trained men and the beds look amazing. Karen Moore Crowson shared her love for the ministry by bringing her wonderful small group. Our friend, John Stonesifer joined in with his tractor to spread gravel!

Hey friends! We need your help.
We are in desperate need of some items at our Resource Center and Baby Boutique. In September we had over 275 visits at our Center and we handed out over 195 packages of diapers. We need help replenishing our stock!
We are also in need of larger size clothes. We not only serve pregnant women and newborns, but families with children up to the age of 2. We need gently used fall/winter clothes, 12-24 months, for both boys and girls.
We’re so grateful for friends that love on this community and care for these families. Thank you for partnering with us in being the hands and feet of Jesus.

We're growing over here at New Beginnings which means we're staying busy. So far in 2023 we have had over 1,700 client visits, which is fantastic, but with that comes needs. We are in desperate need of a few things and that's where our faithful friends come in. We are so thankful for all the donations that we have received recently and we couldn't do this without you. Please consider how you may be able to meet one of the needs listed below. Please keep praying for our ministry, volunteers, clients and families. The Lord is moving in Saline Co and New Beginnings.

Short-term mission trip to NLR yesterday with my adventure partner, Sandy. We ministered to a young lady who is struggling with regret of choice and shame from our enemy. What a privilege to be the bearers of good news and HOPE that only comes from our Lord. THIS is what we are made for!! Ephesians 2:10 all day, everyday!

On the anniversary of the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v Wade, we steadily continue our work to support parents and babies. Because of the WORLDWIDE connection of pregnancy help centers, we were able to send baby clothes and bottles to the pregnancy center in Israel!! Cross Church (Jeremy Dixon) delivered them to Sandy Shoshani yesterday. Our donors and volunteers here in Benton, Arkansas are making a difference in the name of Jesus!
