ALLIED employees were severely impacted by the recent tornados in Northwest Arkansas. In response, the ALLIED factory is closed to the public this week. Because of ongoing internet outages, there will be delays in responding to requests and inquiries – but don’t worry, we’re still working on your bikes and we foresee no delays.
In addition, we have made the very difficult, but necessary decision to forgo the expo at , and instead allow our employees to recover, continue the process of clean up, and to help their neighbors in need.

We’re trying our best to get back online while helping our community through the recovery process – thanks for your patience!

The spectacle that is is generally something we wouldn’t miss for the world. But our world in Northwest Arkansas was upended in the early morning hours of May 26, when devastating storms and tornados ripped through our community.

In response, we have made the very difficult, but necessary decision to forgo the expo at Unbound. Many of our employees homes were directly affected by the storms, and clean up has proven to be extensive.

Our factory was unharmed, however we are without internet access so our communications might be delayed, and we’ll be closed to in person visits and factory tours this week.

Our athletes are in Emporia ready to go, and we have a small support team there as well. Wishing our racers, customers, and all Unbound riders tailwinds, dry roads, golden legs, and absolutely zero punctures!

Features and drops and bridges and hollers and endless ribbons of singletrack. All in our backyard. Defining direction, informing efficiency, dialing fit and feel, refining responsiveness, testing, and finishing to completion. The incomparable BC40.

The new Red AXS:
~150g of lost weight, a tighter FD cage, improved auto-trim, and more powerful braking that requires up to 80% less lever force. But you’ve gotta get your hands on the new svelte shifters to appreciate how amazing this update really is.

On the start line of .bike.
It’s gravel and tarmac and singletrack all on one bike. It’s ridiculously hard, it’s creek crossings and hike-a-bike and b-roads, a cyclocross course and pump track, with a finish line rager. It’s hard to explain what Rule of Three actually is, all we know is it’s a blast and we’re stoked to be a part of it right in our back yard of OZ.

SRAM’s new Red AXS has landed. Faster and tighter shifting, brakes with more caliper force (with 60-80% less lever force), and drops 150g across the entire group. But the thing we’re most excited about for Red is something less quantifiable: the refined lever and hood shape. The redesigned levers shift the piston from the pommel back into the hood body – it’s a slimmer profile that feels more natural on tarmac and more secure on gravel. It’s sleeker, it’s cleaner, it feels correct in ways that are tangible but hard to describe – just like the inimitable ride quality of an ALLIED. One final note, the rear derailleur’s Orbit fluid damper is back for the new gen. That added quiet is nice on smooth roads, but the way it limits chain bounce is critical for gravel.

Special. Monumental. Those are just two of the words used to describe the ALFA for . And what’s the occasion? Glad you asked – the ALFA was just awarded Bicycling’s BEST US-MADE RACE BIKE.

Over the moon to welcome .tmg to the ALLIED factory family. Maude has built a cycling career as a true privateer, balancing race days, training days, and travel days with a day job in a way that everyone who pays their own entrance fees can relate to.

Another point of near-universal relation? Injuries. “I’m an injured runner turned pro cyclist,” she told us. “A tale as old as time nowadays. I had an injury from attempting to race the Barkley Marathons in Tennessee, and I couldn’t walk well, but I could pedal. So I bought a bike. Now I’m on the ECHO, and I’m an all-road convert 10,000%!”
Maude’s 2024 racing season is shaping up to be… different than previous years, not least of all because it’s her first year on ALLIED. More to come on the coming season, but for now, we’ll just reiterate how excited we are to welcome Maude to ALLIED.
