I’m adamant about our chickens having greens, and with winter here of course their entire foraging area is dead.

So this was Homestead Dad’s solution so we can hang greens in their coop!

Not only does it give them greens, but gives them something to occupy them when/if it snows/rains and they don’t want to go outside!

I have a slew of these small J- Feeders from KW available. They have been washed. Some have chew marks, but overall in great condition.

As far as I can tell, you have to cut holes for them. I wasn’t able to figure out any other way.

Today was a bittersweet moment.

Four bunnies hopped to their new home! Step one towards my goal of phasing out my vm. It’s sad to see them gone, but it’s also a relief to see my goals start to come to fruition. Six more are leaving soon as well, then the rest will start coming available.

But while on our trip today I did finally decide on a name for my first fella. And I’m also taking this opportunity to shorten my prefix on my pedigree. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do and I feel this is a good beginning for it, signifying the change in goals, new direction!

I cannot believe it is Christmas Eve, CHRISTMAS EVE! The end of December and I’m outchere in a short sleeve shirt washing stacks. That’s crazy! I’m fully taking advantage of this weather while
I have a chance! 😃

I wasn’t going to make ‘an announcement’, then I decided to. 😅

I will be phasing out all my vienna from my rabbitry over the next few months.

I will keep a couple as pets only, that I just can’t bare to part with, but my goal from here out is to strictly breed non-vienna Hollands.

Most of them have already been claimed,
But I have a handful left that will be made available over the next few weeks.

Edit to add: I will also keep my Rex, and my plan for a pair of English Lops. But I will also be doing away with my Netherlands as well.

I did this awhile back and since there’s been a increase in traffic I thought I’d introduce myself again, the person behind the page!
