Closing out the month celebrating the Women in my lineage and village. The beautiful strong women who have shaped and framed my faith and my identity as a woman.

My Mother Karen Huff (first slide, center), who is my rock and biggest cheerleader along with Beverly McCray and Cynthia Cook who are an integral
part of my upbringing.

I also honor the memory of My Granny Nettie Huff and My Grandma Alma Moore ( second slide) who are not only my namesakes (the Alma and Nettie to my Alnet), but a special part of my heart.

Shout out to my sister Sharyce Huff-Pittman (second slide), who is a powerful woman of God and mother to my amazing nephews.

There are a host of beautiful, amazing women, aunts, sisters, cousins, family, friends and partners in kingdom building who we celebrate and honor this month and everyday!

Continuing of commemoration of Women’s History Month, we honor Pastor Abby Villegas of Centro Cristiano de La Fe ( ) and Esther Kim of Asuza Pacific University ( )!

Audience of One is proud to partner with these incredible women through Asuza Worship Initiative, Pastor Abby and CCDLF as cohort members, and Esther as Grants Program Manager. Their partnership has been vital to our work!

Really, the heart of worship is surrender.

People of God – Time to pray and intercede for the nation and people of Ukraine and Russia. Even as we hear the rumors or wars, the God of all creation is still in control. Let us be sober minded and set our hearts and attention on God in this moment. We join our faith with the Body of Christ believers across the globe and intercede on their behalf.

Lord, we lift up the children, families, leaders in this nation and region. Please bring Your hope and protection during this time. May they know Your love, Your peace, and tangible presence. We pray for justice, reconciliation and restoration in Jesus’ name. God be their shelter, strength, and haven of peace, hope, and faith.
In the Mighty, All-powerful name of Jesus we pray.

2 Chronicles 7:14 - if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

One of the things we don’t talk much about is the important role The BLACK Church played in The Civil Rights Movement.

Greats like the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. weren’t ministers in name only, but understood that “loving thy neighbor” extends to fighting for justice for Black people—who are also created in the image of God.
