THIS WEEK! NORDIC MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE!
ALL THINGS CLIMB TO NEW HEIGHTS AT NORDIC MOUNTAIN
Get ready for an awesome weekend as we head back to Nordic Mountain—but this time, instead of racing, we’re Climbing to New Heights with an Adventure Ride! Packed with fun challenges, bike games, and team camping, this event will also feature cool giveaways and awards as challenges are completed.
You’ll take on the Willow Creek Loops, Empire State Challenge, Mile High Challenge, and Everest Challenge—and let’s just say, ducks and socks are involved… Intrigued?
Adventure Rides are organized by the WI League but led by teams, so all student-athletes must ride with their coaches to be on course. Camping and supervision outside of NICA time is the responsibility of parents/guardians.
Saturday: Nordic Mountain opens at 1:00 PM with on-the-bike fun from 2:00–6:00 PM
Sunday: More riding from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of accomplishments!
We’ll also have for purchase Smokehouse BBQ on Saturday and Englewood Farms on Sunday, so no need to pack much food—just come ready for a fantastic time!
All the info you need is in the Festival Guide.

This little note fell into our mailbox from National Interscholastic Cycling Association a couple weeks ago and we wanted to share it with everyone!
Hello all!
I wanted to send a note of thanks to the AMAZING Hayward NICA team for coming out to help with the Little Loggers event this past Friday. It was great to meet so many of you and to have your help with course-marshalling, cheering, and creating an overall awesome environment for the tiny riders! I know this week you'll also be doing a bit of course cleanup during your normal practice time. From what I heard through several conversations with parents/coaches, you all are very involved in the entire race weekend and supporting the event. For those of you who raced on Saturday, I hope it went well!
I specifically want to thank the Hayward athletes who showed up, who provided help, cheers, and even ran alongside some of the little riders giving encouragement - I saw so many smiles. Your time on a Friday night to come help in this capacity was so appreciated! It was so nice to meet all of you. (I also learned that the Hayward team is nearly 50% composed of female athletes! That is so awesome! Nice work, Hayward!!)
