Colin Sullivan is joining our exceptional team as a versatile Contractor/Distributor and Specification Sales Team member, bringing with him 17 years of invaluable sales experience in the lighting industry. During his career he has worked in various roles for manufacturers and rep agencies in the Bay Area.

Colin is a Bay Area native and a proud parent of three recent college graduates who attended universities in California and Oregon. In his spare time, Colin follows his passion as an accomplished guitarist.

Tom Kaprive joins Lighting Systems as a versatile Contractor/Distributor and Specification Sales Team member. With over 25 years of experience in the lighting industry, primarily with Progress Lighting under the Hubbell brand, Tom has covered a wide territory from San Luis Obispo to the Oregon border.

Originally hailing from Maryland, Tom resides in Walnut Creek, where he raised his twins, both have recently graduated from St. Mary's College. In his free time, Tom enjoys hiking in various locations and capturing picturesque views through his photography.

Originally from Iowa, Tod resides in San Francisco where he enjoys riding his E bike, walking the streets of San Francisco with girlfriend Sue, and downhill skiing in the winter.

Marisa was born into the home improvement lifestyle with both parents working in the industry. Although she spent 15 years in the beauty industry, her passion has always been lighting. For the last four years she has been following that passion as the Bay Area account manager for Visual Comfort & Co. In this role she assisted customers with lighting design and layout. Marisa also acted as the project manager for her projects at Visual Comfort.

Marisa is a California native and calls Petaluma home, where she resides with her husband, two young daughters, and their English Springer Spaniel, Humphrey. She enjoys gardening, camping, and hunting for antique treasures.

His active imagination would run wild with the fantastic things that emerged. One day, Christian looked up into the sky only to see a gray, leaden blanket of clouds. However, against this blank canvas, a break in the sky appeared, and bright sunlight came streaming down in rays reminiscent of a harp. Marset Merging light and shadow in a single piece – Theia
Theia has two faces: to discover them, simply swivel the fixture around its central axis. It can be pointed towards you for use as a reading lamp, or towards an object or a wall, creating a subtle, indirect light. Because Theia’s metal lampshade is totally opaque, this swivelling movement totally shifts the perception of the piece. Theia’s formal design is elementary and streamlined: two half-spheres, one placed horizontally and the other vertically, which intersect with each other.

These formal elements make it possible for the light from a source to be simultaneously projected, reflected, and absorbed by objects for our visual enjoyment.
