Our 15th Season of Warmth is just about to start!

We are so excited as we head into another winter and celebrate our 15th Season of Warmth! Here's one of our favorite Distribution Partners – Lacey from The Clean Love Project, picking up 1,000 pairs of gloves to put into the comfort kits that they put together every year. Check them out by clicking on their name!

They are one of the nearly 100 Distribution Partners we work with every year to get the 23,000 pairs out onto hands. If you have already been a Distribution Partner and you have not heard from us yet, feel free to send us an email at [email protected]. It's a bit of a process emailing each of you, so you can feel free to send us a line! We'll send you the link you need for this year.

If you are interested in becoming a Distribution Partner, send us an email at [email protected] with the subject being "Interested in Becoming a Distribution Partner" (pretty clever, huh?). We are not sure yet if we will be able to add more partners this year, and we would like to talk with you to see if we can add you to the list if we can expand.

Thank you all for all that you do for people in need in and around Detroit!

IT'S THE SUMMER OF GLOVE for Cool Kids!

Remember when you were a kid and you'd set up lemonade stand to raise money for a charity (or so that you could go buy comic books!)? This summer your favorite cool kids can set up their own lemonade stand to help Mittens for Detroit purchase new, warm, durable mittens and gloves for kids in Detroit!

Think about the ways that your kids can help others by running a lemonade stand (mobile or stationery), having a garage sale, holding a bake sale, doing chores for charity, putting on a backyard carnival... All of these and more can help your kids become compassionate Jr. Philanthropists. They'll feel great about doing good! And you will be busting your buttons with pride about their amazing kindness!

We have some fill-in-blanks signs for the kids to use with the donation information, and we are certain they will be very creative with their own signs and messaging beyond that! Questions? Put them in the comments here or send us a email at [email protected]

Thanks!
