Happy 19th Anniversary U.N.I.T.Y.

Every year, my goal is to take U.N.I.T.Y. to another level of servicing the youth and communities around the Metro Detroit area. As I look back on the accomplishments of the organization all I can say is wow to the number of children, families, and communities we have served. Any business that reaches 19 years of service has overcome a fair share of obstacles. I was told at a workshop, every ten black businesses that are started, seven failed in the first 3 years. I could have easily folded U.N.I.T.Y. numerous times. We survive the transition of changing our programs from school base to community base, we survive the covid virus era when it hit the country hard, and we have survived transitioning programs to different demographic areas. We have serval things in the works you will see this year and next year. I thank EVERYONE who has played a part in U.N.I.T.Y. reaching this point.

Let’s continue to serve the community with love and passion.
