Giving Tuesday-StrokeOT, Inc. 11/23/2022

In the U.S., access to healthcare, insurance coverage, and quality of care are directly impacted by age, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. Stroke is the leading cause of long-term disability in the U.S. and there are no affordable, long-term rehabilitation services for community stroke survivors. StrokeOT, Inc. is an OT-led nonprofit association providing free, occupational therapist-led groups, hosting guest presenters and social events, and providing educational material on StrokeOT.org and social media channels. The StrokeOT, Inc. community of Connecticut is over 100 people strong and growing.

A private donor has offered to match all donations up to the first $5,000 we raise for Giving Tuesday 2022. Please donate to keep our mission alive!

Please consider supporting Carolyn in turning StrokeOT into a nonprofit organization. StrokeOT, Inc. was created in April 2020 to bring community stroke and brain injury survivors together to exercise and socialize during the pandemic. Over a year later, we continue to offer our free virtual groups and have recently expanded to in-person groups. Please consider helping Carolyn to afford the expensive process of applying for and maintaining StrokeOT, Inc. as a nonprofit organization.
