As artisans the intersection of style + raw material is core to what we want to accomplish with every bespoke garment. This edition is made from Vitale Barberis Canonico water resistant wool flannel fabric and finished with a lambskin undercollar and mother of pearl buttons.

In this piece Loro Piana has created a beautiful blend of fibers only available seasonally and in small quantities, versatile in color with an abundance of texture.

On the cutting table this morning : vintage plaid cotton with beautiful neutral colors and excellent slub + texture. The last cut of a fabric woven more than a generation ago. Hand marked and cut to the millimeter.

In our next installation of our series, we celebrate our archive of vintage fabric + buttons. While the uniqueness and charm of this treasure trove of fabric can be enjoyed throughout the year, the vibrant vintage colors and designs particularly lend themselves to beautiful summer shirts. Uniquely identifiable through all our trademark details and made to each customer’s measurements, these shirts exemplify all aspects of commissioning a bespoke shirt.
