Covid is ramping up, so we have one open-air event for Narcan training and we have three valuable virtual events for you to attend. Mark your calendars!

Narcan training will be outside of the church as usual (weather permitting). In our Clearing the Confusion educational series, we'll be covering Harm Reduction practices and Overdose Reversal Training (which also qualifies you for a free Narcan kit). On Thursday, we will be talking to the amazing Luke Grandis of the powerful Harm Reduction group from New York City called VOCAL-NY and our own Alexis Pleus will be speaking in the Southern Tier Issues Forum on the impacts of systemic racism, poverty, militarism and ecological devastation in our area.

Divest and Reinvest in Our Community:
Assata Shakur Park
50 Carroll St, Binghamton
Saturday, September 19th.

Come discuss how excess police funds should be redistributed in your community! Binghamton Police Department had an outstanding 2020 budget of $12.8 million and received another 500k grant in July after national and local calls to divest 🤔 Investing in affordable housing, accessibility to fresh food and healthcare can offer more sustainable solutions to protect communities than funding another cop’s payroll. You can scan the QR code below to take a quick survey on what affects your life as a Binghamton resident and what you’d like to see more investment in for our community.
