Cooperstown Homeschool Day

Join us on Friday, June 23rd for Homeschool Day in Cooperstown! The Farmers' Museum and Fenimore Art Museum offer a terrific day of hands-on learning for homeschoolers and their families. It's a great opportunity to participate in special programming, explore our museums, learn, laugh, and meet other homeschoolers!



Families visiting The Farmers' Museum and Fenimore Art Museum will have the opportunity to explore both museums at their own pace while participating in Museum Quest learning stations staffed by museum teachers. These activity stations help students explore our diverse collection while meeting learning standards in math, science, social studies, and language arts. This interactive program is appropriate for students in grades K-12. Admission for this program is just $7.00 per student with children 3 and under free. One adult per family will receive complimentary admission and additional adults will be extended the discounted admission rate of $16.00 each. One free carousel ride is included. The museums are open from 10:00am to 5:00pm, with Museum Quest stations open from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Due to illness SNELS is canceled for today.

Yay! Its Game Day at Co Op today.

Who will be coming to enjoy it with us?

We have over 15 different games to have fun with, and not all are bored games.

The Building we are in, donated some really awesome furniture pieces to us.
We now have a metal cabinet, some book shelves, 15 board games and another wood cabinet. As well as an entire box of paints.

Family friendly, underwater themed haunted house at YHPL Sunday, Oct. 23, 1 - 4pm!

Halloween Goes Under the Sea! Our summer reading theme will continue through Halloween as we once again present our Haunted (Underwater) House on Sunday, October 23rd from 1 - 4 pm. What will you encounter -- sharks, mermaids, sunken ships, pirates? Come and find out! Costumes and other Halloween-themed clothing encouraged but not required. This program is family-friendly, although it will probably appeal most to elementary school-aged children. There is no fee, and no registration is needed.

So today one of our Children helped get the Pieces for our Pumpkin Patch Mosaic all set and ready to go.
