The 2024-2025 Fall/Winter season is planned to start Monday September 23,2024. This will be first practice for returning athletes and evaluation/practice for first time athletes. Watch for more information in the coming weeks.

Yesterday we had fun playing sharks and minnows at our last practice of the Summer season! Keep an eye out on Facebook and email for info about our Fall/Winter season!!

This another day of heat advisory and unsettled weather. We will be monitoring as we get closer to practice time. If we are able to hold practice please remember to bring plenty of water or sport drink to practice.

Due to thunderstorm warnings, practice tonight 7/15 has been canceled.

So far practice is still on for Wed 7/10. Obviously things are still possible to change quickly. Once at the pool if there is thunder or lightning we will need to wait for 30 minutes from the last observed event.

Just a reminder starting 6/24 practice will be 7-830.

We will be holding practice tonight Thursday 6/20. Be prepared for the weather each athlete must have a sport drink or water. Even though they are in the water dehydration is still possible.

Chenango Valley Swim Club to Host Official Swim-a-Thon™ in Binghamton, NY on May 20, 2024 at the Chenango Valley Middle/High School pool in Binghamton, NY.
Event will Raise Funds to Support Chenango Valley Swim Club and USA Swimming Foundation
During this Swim-a-Thon, swimmers will have a one and one-half hour period in which to swim a maximum of 200 lengths. Donors are encouraged to support our athletes by pledging to support their efforts-either via a flat donation, or by pledging a certain amount of money per length that the swimmer completes.
The Swim-a-Thon will provide funds to enable our club to purchase new equipment for our athletes to train, help offset the costs of travel expenses for attending competitions and provide technique clinics to our athletes.
Swim-a-Thon™ is the only pledge-for-length swimming program recognized by the USA Swimming Foundation. Since 2008, Swim-a-Thons have generated more than $72 million for swim clubs and swim programs across the country.

Registration for the 2024 Spring/Summer season will open Monday April 22. The first practice will start Monday April 29 5:45pm - 7:15pm at CV.
Fee for 9&Over athletes is $260 and 8 & Under athletes $195.
