Gentlemen,

A new era is about to begin for the Binghamton Barbarians Rugby Football Club. On Tuesday August 9th we will be holding an informational meeting and our first practice for the 2016 fall season. Please join us from 6pm - 8pm at Otsiningo Park field #4 (it is on the right side of the road as you begin heading towards the exit).

During the brief meeting we will discuss the present and future state of the team, reveal the new set of club bylaws, answer any questions you may have regarding the new interim leadership committee, and review the fall schedule. An abbreviated, easy practice will follow.

This is truly an exciting time for our club, and we hope that you are as enthusiastic as we are to begin this new chapter in our club's storied history. In the event you have not already heard, we have joined the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union and have a very ambitious schedule of matches lined up for this fall. Our first game is less than a month from now, so we really need participation from as many people as possible at all of our practices moving forward.

Even if you haven't played for a while, please consider coming back out and getting on the pitch with us. Also, please spread the word to as many contacts, former and current players, and prospective recruits as you possibly can. Encourage everyone and anyone you know to come on out next Tuesday to the meeting / kick-off event / practice.

Subsequent practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm - 8pm at Otsiningo Park field #4.

It's here, YOUTH RUGBY for ages 5-12. and women's rugby. It's time for your little brothers and sisters or maybe even some of your children to start their rugby careers.

Huns update: In an effort to better serve the rugby community Southern Tier did not field a HS team this spring but has now incorporated as the SOUTHERN TIER RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB. As a result of this action we are now supporting:
1. The newly formed ST Fallen Angels Women's Team which starts play in two weeks. So invite your friends to join their team as well.
2. Partnering with the YMCA to provide youth non contact rugby for ages 5-12.
3. The launching new HS boys and girls rugby programs for the spring of 2015.
