Yesterday, we surprised our Director of Chaplaincy and Clinical Pastoral Education Dr. Cecelia Walker while she was teaching to let her know the Baptist Health Foundation has endowed a scholarship at Samford’s Beeson Divinity School in her honor.

We are so proud to have Dr. Walker on our team and are deeply appreciative of the impact she has made on countless patients and employees throughout her career.

She is a true embodiment of our mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ through holistic, people-centered healthcare.

We kicked off the week by welcoming several new team members to Princeton. We're thrilled to have them!

A co-worker had this to say about Mr. Jeff: "Mr. Jeff is just the jolliest, sweetest, most willing to help individual I have ever met. I have never seen him without a smile on his face. We held another great Hospital Orientation Class this week. It was great to welcome another class of employees who will help us extend the healing ministry of Christ through holistic, people-centered healthcare.

A double dose of awards today at Princeton!

We were honored to present the BEE Award to Shelby Parker and the DAISY Leadership Award to Linda Wade.

These two members of our Princeton family are extremely deserving of these awards and we were thrilled to celebrate with them!!

This morning our Samford University nursing interns were treated to a brunch and time to visit with our Executive Director of Chaplaincy and Clinical Pastoral Education Dr. Cecelia Walker, Brookwood Baptist Health CEO Jeremy Clark, Brookwood Baptist Medical Center Associate Chief Nursing Officer Ryan Fleming, Princeton Baptist Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Lori Sumner, and Baptist Health Foundation Executive Director Alison Scott.

Each intern shared with us why they decided to become a nurse and the biggest lessons they’ve learned during their summer with us.
