I ran down the Rim Trail from the top of Bobcat like I always do. Coming back up, very close to the entrance to the Rim Trail, there was a severed deer head on the trail. It wasn't there on the way down. It was a fresh kill. Let's just say that I ran (high tailed it to the car) without stopping after taking out my earbuds π

Starting my own practice brought many challenges. I had to really zero in on my "why". Having a solid "why" helps us to overcome each obstacle that comes our way. Dreams are meant to be followed. You can do anything you set your mind to. The question is - what do you want?
Are you at a job you hate? Do you feel underutilized? Are you just going through the motions day-to-day?
I challenge you, my friends, to think about what inspires you... What gets your creative juices flowing. If I had a magic wand and could wave it over you and give you the life you want, what does it look like.

I was slow, and it was hard! I walked the last quarter mile because I did not want to push myself past a healthy point. But I was in the woods (my happy place).
It's no joke getting sick! Shout out to the seasonal flu that got me down after finally getting back on my feet from a different pathogen! And to think it all started with a massive chemical exposure which essentially short circuited my body! It was a reminder (necessary one) that I need to always prioritize self care and not neglect the most important person in my life - ME!
Just like YOU are the most important person in your life!! Friends, we have to love and care for ourselves or we will not be able to care for others the way we want and need to.
