🚨September is Campus Safety Awareness Month🚨 Join us for a game of Virtual Bingo with FAU Police! Here’s how you can play:

1. Follow Us: Make sure you are following [] to stay updated on all announcements and game instructions.
2. Obtain Your Bingo Card: We will share a Bingo card template. Please save it to your device, take a screenshot, or print it out.
3. Participate: Engage with the activities listed on the card! Aim to complete a straight line either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally! If you’re feeling extra SAFE, try completing all of them!
** The camera icon located in the bottom right corner of the box is for photo opportunities! (must be completed if possible) Snap a picture and tag us! Ensure your profile is public so we can view your post!
4. Share Your Achievements: When you get a Bingo, take a screenshot of your winning card and share it with us using the hashtag .
5. Winners: The first five participants to finish the tasks will win a PRIZE! (Please send us a direct message).

The providers and staff of Florida Atlantic Student Health Services had a great time this afternoon hosting our first open house for international students. We were excited to provide tours of our clinic and share information about the services SHS offers to all our Florida Atlantic students. Thank you to FAU International Students Services and Insurance for Students for partnering with us.

In the spring 2024 semester, there were 26 reported car crashes at Florida Atlantic University’s Boca Raton campus, according to public records.

As traffic increases, with students returning to campus this fall semester, experts share driving safety tips for the university community. 

One of them is Eric Dumbaugh, an FAU urban and regional planning professor with 25 years of experience addressing traffic-related deaths and injuries. He said he wouldn’t characterize the campus as “particularly hazardous” and that he’d be surprised if any injuries or fatalities occurred from the reported car crashes.

Most vehicle crashes on campus are minor and occur in parking lots, the FAU Police Department stated in an email on April 8.

Atlantic Student Health Services celebrates National Dental Hygienist Week and our dental hygienist, Nara Oliveira. Dental hygienists clean teeth, but they also look for other health issues like oral cancer, diabetes, and lupus. Oral health is an indicator of whole-body wellness, so hygienists have a vital job indeed! Thank you, Nara, for your dedication to SHS and to the oral health of Florida Atlantic students.
