We've partnered with Lindsay Horst to bring her breathtaking arrangements to your room at The Avery Hotel. She's a local florist with an eye for creating truly special pieces. Get to know her ⬇️
❓Were you born and raised in Idaho:
💬"I was born in North Dakota and my dad was in the military most of my young life. We moved to Idaho from Alaska in 2008 and I’ve been here since!"
❓How long have you been working with florals:
💬"This is my fifth year with my floral business but I have been working with plants and flowers since 2017."
❓Where do you get your beautiful flowers:
💬"I source my flowers locally through various flower farms including my own and also I source from Washington Floral Wholesale for those extra special blooms."
❓What is your business motto/why did you chose this work:
💬"Working with flowers is a way for me to marry my love for the natural world and my art. I’ve always had an artistic spirt and things really clicked when I started using florals as a medium. It’s such a sacred process to foster plants from seed, share weather patterns with them, care for their growth and in exchange they provide a lovely medium to express myself and bring magic to the lives around me."

Copper River Sockeye
This sockeye salmon, fresh and about to be filleted in house, is known for its deep flavor and rich fat content. Chef Cal Elliott knows a thing or two about fish species and quality as he was a commercial fisherman in Alaska for 10 years. It's the beginning of the harvest for the Copper River Sockeye and Cal says it's one of his personal favorites and the most flavorful salmon.
