Meet Dr. Joshua McAdams, OD – Olympian and Optometrist💚👁️

Dr. Joshua McAdams, OD, brings a unique blend of athletic excellence and medical expertise to Maple Grove Eye Care. A former Olympian who competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Dr. McAdams has channeled the same dedication and discipline that propelled him to the top of the athletic world into his career as an optometrist.

After earning his degree from Brigham Young University, where he also won the NCAA championships, Dr. McAdams pursued his passion for eye care, graduating from the Southern College of Optometry.

Today, he continues to inspire both in and out of the clinic, balancing his love for fitness with his commitment to providing exceptional eye care to the Boise community.

Dr. Matthew Neale, MD, is a highly experienced ophthalmologist dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to the Boise community. With a rich background in both clinical and surgical ophthalmology, Dr. Neale brings over a decade of expertise to Maple Grove Eye Care.

He graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed his residency at the University of Virginia. As a practice owner since 2011, Dr. Neale is committed to advancing eye health and improving the quality of life for his patients through compassionate care and cutting-edge technology.

When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Neale enjoys skiing, weightlifting, and spending quality time with his family.

We are seeking someone with an outgoing personality to represent our clinic as the first point of contact. Positive demeanor is key! Billing and insurance experience required. Duties include answering phones, checking in of patients, insurance verification and prior authorizations. Please message resume with “Stellar Receptionist” in the subject line or drop off resume at our office Monday through Thursday 8:30 to 4:00. Of note: we are closed over the lunch hour 12:00 to 1:00. Congrats to Dr. McAdams for taking 3rd place yesterday in Provo, Utah’s Freedom Festival 10K Freedom Run with a time of 31:36! Way to go!
