It was great seeing many talented players this weekend at Cancer Crushers! I received some great referrals and watched some amazing players!

Hey All! We’ve got about 3 months before Challenge Cup rosters are finalized. If you are interested in playing on the Men’s D Challenge Cup team, reached out to me, Carolyn Schmidt-Carlson! I will be traveling back and forth between the North and South just as I have been.

July 27th Hot Summer Slams (men’s/womens) Lewiston, ID

July 28th: Tony Perez (Men's Mush and Women's) Lewiston, ID

CDA Classic CDA, ID August 23-25 (coed)

September 7-8 LC Valley Draft Lewiston, ID (mens/womens)

GSL State September 14-15 Boise, ID *USSSA sanctioned

September 14-15 Battledawg Bash Deer Park, WA (coed)

League of their Own/coed tourney September 28th Caldwell, ID

Stolen Sisters September 27-29 Deer Park, WA

Octoberfest October 5-6 Boise, ID

To those who are interested in the Challenge Cup D team for 2025! You must compete in 2 Sanctioned Utrip events. 1 must be in the state of Idaho. Idahos first sanctioned tournament will be Polar Bear April 12-14. We will be out there watching. If you are interested this tournament is a great event to the beginning stages of Challenging yourself. Hope too see a ton of people out there

IDAHO Men’s D “RED” set another milestone in the 2024 Challenge Cup Men’s D Division. Each year, these gentlemen compete against other states that bring the best players they can offer!

Winner wins a Gold Medal and bragging rights!
The Idaho Red Team team finished:

🏆7th Rank all out of 50 Teams
🏆8th in National Power Rankings

6-4 Record with two losses coming from the #2 and #3 ranked teams!

They scored an Avg of 16.5 runs while allowing an Avg of 14.5 always keeping them in every game!

The team had the second highest runs total in the tournament!
The boys fought only to lose Pool Games by 2 walkoffs, they came back to win 1st Bracket on Friday and playing 6 more games on Saturday! Playing mind you from 9 AM with breaks all the way to 1 AM!

For anyone who has not seen it… the Challenge Cup really does have the highest level of competition in the softball world!!

Congrats all to the Coaches David Kaufman, Patrick Mcgregor and Josh Turcato! This could not have happened without their leadership and efforts leading up to the tourney!!

We had the boys from BX Badd Xample Men’s C Team put us to the test.. and give us all some work on the Turf in Fruitland! Thank you boys for coming out in the freezing cold and giving us these needed reps! 🥶🥎

Cannot forget Shaun Ramsey for umpiring for us all day in the wind and cold!! Thank you sir!

We wish the Men’s E Teams and all of the teams going soon good luck, and we will be rooting for you down there‼️
