(Jeanne here) we have thoroughly vetted Pure Bliss Baking
Meaning she uses all organic flours and ingredients, her breads are long fermented and she is a proficient Gluten Free baker!!
We have had her Bread and English muffins and GF Chocolate chip cookies. I did not get sick and I have been eating her SD bread for a month! We endorse her small local baking business!

Dearest friends,
When we started Wild Phyllis Bakery, we had planned on being a commissary kitchen where we could fill special orders and bake for our wholesale customers in the Valley.
A few weeks after opening our doors to the public, we were busier than we had ever thought we would be and the interest in a long fermentation sourdough bakery was off the charts.
The last thing we even considered was closing our doors permanently
~Here we are doing just that June 18th will be our last day open.
We will offer pre-ordering and in store buying till then ~

Meredith and I went with virtually no days off for a year building the bakery. Now, at a year and a half in, we have help and pay our staff premium, but it has taken its toll on us both physically and mentally and we need a break.
During the last year or so, we have watched our people come forward and appreciate our approach to long fermenting and using locally sourced organic ingredients.
We have seen people that haven’t been able to enjoy good bread & baked goods giddy with excitement that they can, in fact, eat bread again. And now they have the
knowledge on how to do that. That, on our scale, is the best success for us.

Both Jeanne & Meredith plan on resting, spending, and spending time with family.
Meredith has no plans on leaving the sourdough world and after a little hiatus will come back teaching her craft and writing a much-needed baking guide to long fermented sourdough. Jeanne will get her hip fixed and continue on in her other
business ventures Real Estate & Jewelry.
We will still be involved in our community and loving on our friends.
Our base staff will stick with us to the end, and we want to personally thank each of them
for giving their all because this is not your typical bakery. Our methods take longer and
use very different baking techniques than a normal bakery.
We will make as much bread for you as we can before we close.
Our sincerest thank you goes out a million times over. We appreciate every one of you that has supported us on this journey.
Wild Phyllis will live on...

We did a little upgrade to our nosh boxes! This batch went to Idaho Wine Tours a local couple that has some pretty good taste! Yum to our bread, meats, sweets and cheeses! I stick a packet of dry ice to keep the meats & cheese cool!

Can I walk in and buy your baked goods?

Answer: Yes!
Our bakery is open to the public Thursday 10-3pm , Friday 11-3pm & Saturday 10-3.

We may sell out so please come early or call. We cannot save items over the phone. Some days we have things to the very end, some days we sell out early.

We want to give everyone the heads up that our Cinnamon bun take n bake 4 pack has sold out.
We physically do not have the space to keep them in a refrigerator or to ferment anymore dough. We are not a bakery that just whips up ingredients to mass produce on a large scale. Long ferment means we let our dough rest while the wild yeast does it’s magic.

Yes we understand some may be disappointed.
