Meet our Coeur D’Alene Clinical Manager, Shawn Grischkowsky, LCSW. Shawn's journey in substance use treatment began as a Certified Recovery Coach and Peer Support Specialist, igniting his passion for guiding others towards recovery. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work, specializing in co-occurring disorders, he integrates personal insights from his own recovery journey into his work at Brick House. Beyond his role, Shawn treasures family time in the Pacific Northwest, enjoying snowboarding and hiking adventures with loved ones, fostering connections and creating cherished memories

Footnote: I have to add a comment here just to celebrate to progress made with my dad. Today my relationship with my dad is the best relationship that I have outside of my wife. Recovery has allowed us to become best friends where we share everything with each other. It is beyond sacred to me, and I never thought it would be possible to be this close to my dad when we were so far apart in my addiction.

Introducing our Clinical Director, Chris Brayton, LCSW. Chris' journey into addiction therapy began early, shaping his mission to empower others. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor with a Master's from Eastern Washington University, he combines Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and more to guide clients toward self-worth and resilience. Chris also serves on the Idaho Behavioral Health Board and enjoys family time building Legos and exploring new cultures through travel.
