The fires in Malheur County have been raging for weeks now, burning over 400,00 acres combined. This has resulted in the loss of millions of dollars worth of feed and grazing capabilities. A local hay distributor created a GoFundMe in order to assist farmer's and rancher's in need of feeding their livestock. Please consider supporting the farmer's and rancher's of the greater Treasure Valley through the link below.

Ridge to Rivers is adding two new trail connections and widening a section of the Harrison Hollow Loop Trail. The western trailhead will be converted to an all-weather surface material to allow for improved winter use.
Construction is expected to start on Monday, July 22 and wrap up by the end of August. Please note, the contractor plans to stage materials in the Harrison Hollow Trailhead parking lot, which will result in the closure of a handful of parking spots for the duration of the project. As always, keep dogs on-leash in the parking lot to ensure their safety! Thanks for your cooperation as we work to improve the trails for all!

In the face of being slated with housing developments and storage facilities, LTTV purchased the Harrison Hollow trailhead with the support of the community. Ever since, we have been managing the space to keep it a destination that hikers and dog-owners can rely on for native plants, trails, and vistas of the city and Boise foothills.

Idaho Gives is halfway through, and reaching our goals this week will help us reach our goals in the future. We love Harrison Hollow as much as you do, and would like to move forward with making it even better, more accessible, for years to come.
