Hello! Boise Cooperative Preschool is now enrolling for the 24/25 school year. For 50 years, Boise Cooperative Preschool (BCP) has been a leading play-based preschool in the Treasure Valley. A cooperative preschool is one that is run with parent volunteers. We have two part-time teachers on staff that work closely with parent volunteers to keep our school running and our students learning!
Because parents are giving their time for free, the preschool can operate with fewer paid staff members and at lower costs than traditional preschool. BCP’s play-based model allows children to play and discover what they find of interest. As a cooperative, teachers and families work together to create a classroom community where children are nurtured and supported in their exploration and discoveries! We are so grateful for our teachers, without them BCP wouldn’t exist. They put countless hours and their energy into our kiddos and because of them our children have grown so much this school year!

BCP’s 2024 bike rodeo was a huge success!!! Thank you to everyone who came & enjoyed the event. We decorated bikes, the grownups participated in the auction items, the kids rode about 50 laps and we all enjoyed an amazing wrestling match, complete with our very own Wyatt wrestling bad guy Brad Zane.

Here are all the details for this years event! It’s gonna be amazing!!

Our bike rodeo will feature live professional wrestling from local Wrestle Club! Along with a $2 per entry raffle to win a chance to wrestle the amazing Brad Zane!!! Check it out along with our other activities this Saturday!

5 more sleeps! Open to the public! This is BCP’s biggest fundraising event and it’s gonna be one for the record books this year…bike-a-ton, bike decorating, wrestling, food, tons of auction items!!!

This years Bike Rodeo is Saturday, April 13th 10-1 at Wright Congregational United Church of Christ - across from BCP, our biggest party of the year!  The Bike Rodeo is a very important fundraising event for the preschool, and we can’t wait to see all of you there!  Like the Harvest Festival, the Bike Rodeo is a requirement for the BCP members to attend.  Please feel free to bring friends and family!! All are welcome!!

Happy birthday to TWO of our amazing teachers!! Miss Tara is today and Miss Liza was last week (sneaky lady didn’t tell anyone!). If you see them, make sure to wish them a happy birthday!

Boise School District has already issued an email stating that they have canceled school for THURSDAY, January 18th, out of an abundance of caution due to the forecasted inclement weather, including the prediction of freezing rain. In addition, neighborhood streets are becoming difficult for our school buses to navigate.
