Interested in Montessori? The Boise School District Montessori Project will be offered at Liberty Elementary next school year (2024-2025).
- Applications open on January 8th.
- A parent information night will be held on January 18th from 5:00 - 5:30 PM at Liberty Elementary (1740 E Bergeson St., Boise, ID).
- Applications are due by February 9, 2024 at 3 PM.
- The lottery will be held on February 15th.
- Applicants will be notified on February 16th.

The Boise School District Montessori Project's mission is to foster self-motivated, responsible, lifelong learners by providing an opportunity for students to meet high academic standards using the Montessori philosophy and methods of education.

Vista Montessori School is seeking a compassionate, energetic, motivated, creative, organized, and dependable teacher to join our teaching team. Applicant must enjoy working with young children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age and be flexible with working between classrooms.

We offer competitive pay, monthly wage enhancement, paid time off, medical insurance, voluntary dental and vision insurance, scholarships for trainings and annual incentives, flexible schedules, no weekends or evenings after 6 pm.

The following qualifications are required:

• Available to work Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as the position requires

• Flexible and willing to work 30 to 40 hours per week

• Have a high school diploma or GED

• Must be CPR/First Aid certified and have a Boise city child care license (or be willing to obtain upon hire)

Daily tasks would include the following:

Assist in planning and implementing daily program under the direction of the teaching team
Creating and supervising projects and crafts
Clean up after meals, which includes, cleaning the children, tables, sweeping, and mopping floors etc.
Daily classroom cleaning
Diapering children as needed
Ability to move with ease from the ground to standing
Ability to lift children
Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times
Communicating with parents

13 years ago VMS celebrated our first Kindergarten Graduation with the VMS Class of 2009. This year, those VMS Pioneers graduate highschool. We recently caught up with Amaya, Austin, Carsen, and Danika. They are all doing some pretty amazing things. Read below to find out what these remarkable humans are up to!!!

AMAYA will be moving up to Coeur d Alene Idaho in the fall to attend North Idaho College, and get a degree in business managment. She loves spending her time with family and friends, and is most likely at the race track cheering on her siblings or chasing the checkered flag.

AUSTIN has been working on improving his welding and mechanical skills in the last few years. He loves taking his truck 4 wheeling while listening to his favorite country music station. He has decided to join the United States Marine Corp. and should be shipping off in September.

CARSEN will major in film and television with a minor in theater at BSU in the fall. He is interested in drama and movies and art. He loves acting and creating.

DANIKA will major in biology at ISU in the fall. She is interested in becoming involved in the medical field. Danika played club soccer for 15 years and played for the timberline varsity team.
