I'm so proud of this detailed color correction. My beautiful client had previously paid hundreds of dollars for a "platinum balayage" and walked away with this. When she found me she wanted to correct the color as much as possible while maintaining as much length as we physically could- The results are so easy on the eyes and we feel so much improvement! There is still some pretty extreme damage from her previous stylist but we did our best and I'm so excited for more sessions to come on this healthy hair journey!

When you go to a salon you should never EVER experience your hair breaking off, melting, falling out in the bowl, chemical burns, allergic reactions ect. But also, there is a bottom line for what we except as professional color. You should not be walking away from a salon with hair you did not ask for, chemicals left on your scalp, untoned, obviously unfinished or destroyed hair.

You should feel safe that your stylist is going to provide you with something you can at least feel confident in, if not love, while you work towards your long term goals.

My advice to my clients is to avoid hairdresser that skip over consultations, won't do strand tests, make fun of what you want or your personal style, don't ask about necessarily medical and or chemical history and fail to follow usual procedures. Secondly, please tell your stylist everything! Tell us your chemical history, Tell us what you don't want, tell us what you're afraid of, tell us about your favorite haircut you've ever had! Bring us photos of inspiration!! But above all don't be afraid to speak up in fear of hurting your stylist feelings!! It's YOUR hair and YOU need to love it. If you're not being honored in your ✨salon home✨, then respectfully it might be time to do some hairdresser shopping!!
