We are a fast growing locally owned company with a great team that thrives on having a professional and friendly environment. We are hiring four candidates for this role. Folger Building offers great incentives to help you accomplish your goals such as training in different construction methods, reading blueprints, training with power and air tools, and a $ sign on bonus depending on experience and bonus incentives. We hire for all trades and are willing to train. Work begins promptly at 7am, Monday through Friday. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also possess a high degree of integrity and the ability to analyze a variety of problems while working independently. Time management and organizational skills are also essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Consistently utilize all required safety equipment and follow proper framing procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
* Maintain a good attendance record.
* Proper use of measurements
* Pneumatic nail guns and saws
* Install installation
* Read blueprints & tape measures
* Assembly of materials, lumber, sheetrock, decking, sub sheeting.
Qualifications:
* Ability to lift and carry objects 75 and over on occasion.
* Can consistently reach above and below shoulder level.
* Ability to read and understand measurements
* Ability to take direction, and work in a team with others.
* Can meet our daily schedule and possible overtime when necessary.
* Ability to climb ladders, use hoist and use man lifts to perform work duties.

We here at Folger Building are excited to announce a new addition to our Executive Team!

We are pleased to announce that Nik Dumas will be joining the Folger Building Executive Team as Director of Operations and Project Management beginning on December 1, 2021. In this capacity, Nik will be overseeing our company’s day-to-day operations and working with the team on process improvement and new project implementation.

Nik is the current Artistic Administrator for Opera Idaho and has been with them since February 2017. In his time with Opera Idaho, in addition to overseeing the artistic activities of the company, he also worked to create and operate their Emerging Artist Program. Through the Emerging Artist Program, he has been able to assist Opera Idaho in expanding its reach throughout the state.

With his arts-based background and ability to create and implement new programs, we know that Nik is exactly what the Folger Building team needs to further support and grow our operations.

Remodeling a couple of house from the turn of the century. We are going to preserve the architecture as best we can and even plan to use new windows matching as close as possible to the originals. The two houses were moved from downtown Boise near St. Luke’s hospital to where they are currently, next to warm springs golf course.

We made this patio cover stable and a new set of steps leading outside. If you have a project that needs done we’re the people to call! Anything from new construction to remodeling.

Added 4’x12’ to this kitchen. We also framed the walls for a small bathroom making a bedroom into a master bedroom.
