Breast cancer doesn’t only effect women, and male breast cancer needs better, more tolerable treatment options. In our next installment of Spotlight on Clinical Trials, we speak with medical oncologist and ETHAN clinical trial investigator Dr. Jose Pablo Leone about how he and his team are seeking to expand the option of endocrine (hormone) therapies for these patients beyond tamoxifen.

“I'm optimistic that this will set the stage for future development of endocrine therapies for male breast cancer, where we will start with at least knowing what the most effective combinations are, and then go from there," said Dr. Leone. Read more here: https://bit.ly/40bW5pK

To date, because of you, Komen has invested $410 million in nearly 900 research grants and more than 130 clinical trials focused on MBC and other deadly and aggressive breast cancers.

Those affected by MBC urgently need increased research, state and federal policy change, additional resources and the support of all of us.
