Help unloading the truck
Carry gelato pans, up to 60lbs
Open cardboard boxes with a sharp tool
Organise the pans on the carrier
Occasionally, bring the pans into the cold room (-4F)
This is a twice a month job of 4 to 5 hours (8:30am to 12pm/1pm). We start in Boston, on Newbury Street and Finish in Cambridge, on JFK Street. We pay $20/hour.

Amorino is looking for awesome Counter Staff / Baristas / Cashier to join the team!

Base salary of $11 per hour, + tips $3 (winter) to $10 (summer) per hour, + Bonuses. All included it's between $14 and $22 per hour.

As a Counter Staff/Cashier and Barista, your job will be to welcome and serve every customer. You will have to prepare and serve specialty beverages and food to customers, in an extremely fast paced environment and by following the standard recipes. We offer a high-quality service in a clean and inviting environment. Responsibilities of the Barista/Counter Staff/Cashier include providing top-notch customer service, operating the cash register and following Amorino’s cash handling procedures, keeping the shop inviting and clean (inside and out, front and back), and following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines with care. If you're a team player with excellent customer service skills, then apply today!

Our operating hours are 11AM to 11PM, with closing shifts ending around midnight. Candidates must have flexible schedules and be able to work during our hours of operation, as well as some evening/night shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

Flexible schedule - ability to work some evenings required
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
Good verbal communication and ability to take feedback from customers
Ability to listen, learn, take direction from leadership (even learning how to create a flower-shaped cone within 20 seconds!)
Ability to work quickly, consistently, and efficiently on the counter line
Commitment to good hygiene and professional appearance
Knowledge of food safety a plus
Provide good employment references
Past retail or client/customer service experience in a fast-paced environment and/or six months of customer service as a Barista
