Attorney Susan Bourque provides legal insight on a recent ruling in Monestime v. Connelly, a medical malpractice case that alleges the plaintiffs’ daughter suffered injuries following her birth, in the article below. This decision does not avail the federal government of the $100,000 cap on damages under the charitable immunity statute.
