The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) oversees emergency preparedness and response programs for the City of Boston.
OEM is tasked with emergency preparation, response, recovery, and mitigation programs for the City of Boston as well as the management of projects funded by US Department of Homeland Security Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant funding on behalf of the Metro Boston Homeland Security Region (MBHSR).
Our team also had the pleasure of joining the Garrison Trotter Neighborhood Association's Annual Community Event over the weekend to engage with residents!

Last week our team supported the championship parade with misting tents and engaged with residents at ! We also held our last in person CERT training for our first CERT cohort in 20 years!
Today our team was out setting up misting tents to support heat relief at BHA/BCYF/BPS and other agencies for the week!
