SAVE THE ECLIPSE GLASSES!!

Perkins School for the Blind, in partnership with Cape Ann Whale Watching, is requesting that you save those eclipse glasses and pay-it-forward:

“In the spirit of celebrating nature and this incredible planet, let’s help nurture the curiosity of the next generation and model sustainable behaviors. We will be collecting used solar eclipse sunglasses and sharing them with children in Latin America. The children in Latin America will be able to use them to view the October 2024 Eclipse in that region.

So if you were just going to toss your glasses after the eclipse, you can donate them. You can mail them in a regular size envelope to Perkins before July.

So proud of my nephew who will be graduating from Mass Maritime. I was able to go see him last year go on The Kennedy ship which took its last voyage.
