A Big Thank You to all who came out to donate at Gillette Stadium during training camp. Pictured below is Margaret, who is a 1st time donor, she wanted to give back as she has received blood in the past. Also pictured below Peter, who always comes to training camp with his wife and kids. He and his wife always donate when the bloodmobile is in the area.

Wonderful news out of the Kraft Center today…Apheresis RN, Ronnel, was honored to receive a DAISY nomination for his excellence in patient care. The person who nominated him noted they are in school to become a nurse, hopefully they will become one just like him, adding, “He is so smart, loving, caring, and just overall amazing! He lights up the room the moment he walks in.”

We couldn’t agree more. Ronnel, we feel lucky to work with you, you truly put the patients first, as do our phenomenal Nurses at the Kraft Center.

Every DAISY nomination is meaningful recognition of the nurse who receives it from a grateful patient, family member, or co-worker. Receiving a copy of their nomination, nurses understand the impact they have had on the person who wrote the nomination and the difference they have made.

It was a family affair at the Kraft Center this morning. Thank you to the wonderful Danis and Miller families for their generous platelet and blood donations. You helped a lot of great DFCI and BWH patient families by ensuring we have the blood and platelets their loved ones might need. 🥰🩸😍

Today our bloodmobile is in Plymouth at the Faith Community Church! Thank you, for all who came out to donate today. Picture below is William he was happy to be the face of the Plymouth drive. He lives in Plymouth nearby and appreciates our making it so easy and convenient to donate by bringing the bloodmobile to his neighborhood.

We put out the plea for platelets and who shows up to make sure her DFCI patients are covered…Ily to the rescue! Employee donors rock!! If you are feeling healthy and well we could use a platelet donation now. Summertime is always a tough time for blood banks. The air conditioning is on and the snacks are snackin, we have a comfy chair waiting for you!
