Have you ever tried your best and fallen flat on your face? I think there is no better song to express that devastation than Sarah McLachlan 's beautiful song . It was an amazing experience to get to play it with her. One of my favorite songs.

Scott Ouellette once told me words of wisdom- that it’s easy to find talented musicians out there, but harder to find ones that are also great people and a blast to work with. Well, that’s precisely how I feel about working with him. Which is why I was thrilled when he suggested starting a new duo.
I’m excited to announce that beginning in the spring our new duo, Adagio/Allegro (logo in the comments), will be performing modern pieces for cello and guitar, as well as works by classical and Latin-American composers, and some fun adaptations for well-known songs. For now, here is a sneak peek of our first rehearsal: laughing together after I thoroughly mess up a note, before resuming work on a beautiful piece by Edin Solis.
Now that’s what I consider a good rehearsal! ;) If you are not yet familiar with Scott’s brilliant guitar playing, arrangements, and compositions, do yourself a favor and check it out!
