Finally cooling off after a beautiful, sunny, and eventful weekend full of so much love & fun💕

I went down to NY Friday to do maternity photos for a dear friend of mine who I love & have gotten to be a part of so many milestones for… from engagement to COVID elopement, and then finally the big wedding day!

And now she’s expecting her first little one 🍼and I got to go down not only to take pictures but to celebrate her at the most perfect baby shower!

While in NY I took myself on a lil me date to go see my FAVE movie turned broadway play which was simply *chef’s kiss*

And then I jetted back up to Boston to throw my bestie’s bridal shower because she is getting married in t-minus 9 days!!!! 🤯😱

Wowowowwwww my heart is very full from all of the celebrating❤️

And I’m SO pumped because I have another amazing weekend ahead, and a gorgeous gorgeous wedding to look forward to on Saturday 🎉

Ahhhh summer season is just a joy all around☀️💕

The only thing that can pry me from my bed before the sun rises is knowing I’m on the way to a dreamy engagement session with the sweetest couple 💕☀️

And while I do love a good evening golden hour; there’s something so special about having a place all to ourselves and getting to enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of a slow morning together

I am fully convinced that there are absolutely NO bad ideas when it comes to engagement sessions! They should be fun, unique and represent you as a couple… however that manifests!

And as you can probably tell… I’m still not over that one time HMart let us take over for this amazing engagement session!

When I first spoke with my couple before meeting up they asked me, what should we do for our session? Where should it be? And we talked about incorporating an element or place that they love to enjoy together… and since they would spend many weekends together over at HMart… boom 💥 we had an idea!!

This turned out to be one of the most exciting and fun sessions I’ve done to date 🥰

It’s finally that time of year where I go back in the archives and start spamming you guys with all the beauty that was this past year’s wedding season❤️

As the season comes to a close and I shoot my last wedding of the year this weekend🤯 I’m beyondddd excited to finally get some much needed rest and quality time with my family!

And it has been QUITE the while since I’ve shown my face around these parts!!

But it’s engagement season, and I’ve been connecting with so many new faces recently that I thought it would be the perfect time to re-introduce myself to the gram (and shamelessly share these awesome new shots I took for my website refresh 😇)

An unsurprising fact about me is I’m a lil rusty when it comes to the social media game, and truth be told I’ve been in a love hate relationship with it for the past year and half.

2023 was the year I really tackled taking care of my mental health, and creating a sustainable work life balance for myself and I realized that for a while now I had been operating from a place of burnout. There’s a lot of good that comes from owing your own business & have the freedom to do what you love, but it can also come with a lot of pressure sometimes!

You wrestle with personal perfectionism, you face rejection of your work & what you bring to the table, while constantly fighting to figure out what’s healthy in terms of devoting time to work since it’s your art, your passion… and your job is to literally preserve once in a lifetime moments that people will NEVER experience again if you don’t do your job right 🤯

And when you get on social media to see all the likes, all the beautiful work around you from others, and feel like everyone else has their stuff all put together it’s hard to want to raise you’re voice and join the crowd!

So I have admittedly been hiding from you all… and I will probably be fighting with my feelings about social media and keeping up appearances for the rest of my existence 😬

But I do realize that sharing my work and sharing myself with others matters, and I’m so grateful for so many of you who work with me, support me, choose to connect with me! So this is me, acknowledging that and just popping in to say Hi!
