I guess because you never get to see water frozen still in time in real life. So looking at that exact moment on film is something I love.

Also close your eyes and think about a wave (no matter how big or small) hitting your body. Isn’t that just THE BEST feeling?

Holy moly I loved this foggy day on Nantucket with Alex & Tim ❤️

Made some art today with the very beautiful and very pregnant

I’ve been watching and admiring the light throughout our house ever since we moved in, and I’ve had visions of capturing people in the little corners of the house when the light hits just right.

And today I got to do just that.

Thank you for trusting me and bringing the 🔥🔥

Spent so much time trying to pick out my fav pics to fit in 10 slides here and let’s just say there will be multiple posts about Ethel + Dillons wedding because there are just too many great moments from the day.

Spent the afternoon photographing in her home garden.

The garden where most of her flowers and plants come from that she uses in any work project. If it’s not found in her own garden, she sources beautiful local flowers from magical places like in Brewster.

No shipping in flowers from other countries. No using florals that aren’t in season (sorry October brides, you’re not getting peonies with Kate) but I think that’s what makes her work so magical.

It’s local. It’s in season. It’s authentic. You know the persons hands that have tenderly taken care of each flower you see.

Some other things to mention about Kate and her small but mighty farm:
🍺she grows the begonias used in begonia beer!
☕️she’s responsible for the beautiful installations at my fav coffee shop
🌿she includes fresh herbs in every bouquet so when you smell it, it helps you relax on your wedding day
🎀she hand dyes all the silk ribbon wrapped around each bouquet with natural dye she makes from the flowers in her garden 🤯🤯
🤗plus she’s just incredibly kind and someone you could talk to for hours (I know, I did it today)

Taylor + Mike and nothing to say other than this day was 10/10. Days like these inject joy, creativity, and a whole heap of feeling thankful right into my soul.

I don’t know what to say other than I freakin’ loved this day. Erika, Tom (and Boris 😉) it was my pleasure being the one chosen to document this day ❤️

Chris + Sean, and their lovely rainy ceremony at the Provincetown Monument.

I love when couples don’t let the weather get in the way of their wedding day plans. Full steam ahead with the outdoor ceremony for these two ❤️

A perfectly foggy and intimate evening spent in Chatham 🖤🤍

Most mornings I try to start the day by simply taking a walk in our yard.

I pour my first cup of coffee and head out the door. In my underwear.

No specific spot or goal in mind.

Today I looked at our fire pit from an angle I’ve never seen it before, watched my feet glide through our two-week long grass that needs to be mowed, drops of dew transferring to my feet.

I witnessed the busy morning bees, and a path through our wildflowers that the damn deer has made over the last month.

I listened to the birds, the traffic, and those bugs that make that infamous hot summer day noise.

I smelled the lavender. I checked on the growth of some new zinnia seeds I planted.

Now I think I’ll go to the beach and submerge my body in the sweet salty ocean.

My client Phyllis flew me all the way down to Tampa for her Everyday Babe shoot.

Found this vintage blown glass ceiling light at yesterday for only $5!

and I turned the breaker off today and took a stab at installing it (entire breaker off is overkill I know 🙄)

And it looks amazing. Vibes with everything else we’re piecing together for the house. 🔥
