LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, THE PRESIDENT OF NORTHEASTERN ROLLER HAS AN IMPORTANT ADDRESS.. kidding just another ... Meet #28? Max Thalheimer! The team’s recumbent President-Coach-Player-Manager-Uniform Designer-Good guy (you should see his resumé).The 5th year Senior out of Ambler, PA currently boasts 38G and 35A in 74 career GP. He has seen two tough career losses- one in the 2017 NCHRA D2 national championship and the other in the controversial NU intramural Broomball Final of 2016. Max donates numerous hours to the Entrepreneurship Club at NU, and is finishing his final co-op right now as head DJ at Bose Headquarters (check out his Spotify). Go Huskies!
Speaking of Strong Island.. let’s give a shoutout and a to Jericho’s own Dan Rosenthal! The 5’11” 180 pound D man is in his 3rd year in the league with a career high 20 points this year. Dan attributes his playing style and numerous attempts at growing a goatee to his idol Scott Stevens. As he says, “If the department of player safety isn’t calling me, it wasn’t a hard enough hit.” Dan’s highlights as a husky include 21 career goals, a runner-up at Nationals, and growing a mullet long enough that he could donate to Locks of Love. Dan wears #98 as a reminder to stay humble on the rink even though he makes Wayne Gretzky look like a men’s league player. Catch him and the rest of the boys this weekend at Skate Safe!
Never too late for some Holiday Cheers! Thanks to everyone who supported us in 2018 as we look forward to a successful 2019!
With the new year we would like to give a shoutout to our new E-board members running the ship for the season ahead.

... for the Turkey!!
The holiday season began today with a little Tryptophan -induced hangover, and the higher-ups in the Club Roller Franchise thought it was time to bring back the ! Ladies and germs meet #9, the 6'4" 225 lbs. talent out Westford, MA, Chris "Fonz" DiFonzo! Make sure you to yell "ayyyy" at him around campus just like his birth-father, the great Arthur Fonzarelli. Chris loves to spend his Thanksgivings with his family up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where it is tradition to catch your Thanksgiving turkey bare-hands and bare-feet in the snow. Chris attributes his speed and prowess on the tile to the "those gobblers". Ever since coming to Boston and discovering the invention of electricity, Chris decided to pursue a career with computers, as he wanted to combine his love for social interaction with his typewriting skills. In the offseason, Chris trains by dodging spikes hit directly at him by the ladies from (while wearing full gear of course). Chris plays on Wednesday nights with a Def Leppard cover band at Our House East, check them out!

Thanks to all the guys who came out today for the first annual Ian Prescott Memorial Alumni Game. Great skate for a great guy!
Recovering from a torn labrum is not easy... especially when that torn labrum was caused by excessive dabbing. Take a peek behind the hospital doors to see how recent retiree is dedicated to going southpaw for the next few months
Here is the information for the services for Ian. If you will be attending please wear bright colors, and if you have one a bow tie. Also if you played on a team with Ian bring your jersey from that team.
We are devastated to hear of the passing of former President and Captain Ian Prescott. We can't thank him enough for what he did for this club and for the sport of roller hockey. The roller hockey community has lost a great friend, player, and coach. Rest easy
Big shoutout to these 4 who managed to balance a professional roller hockey career with some school work on the side. Grinded for 5 years for a fancy paper! Good luck on all your future endeavors (and keep those groins and hammys loose for the alumni game). Side shoutout to Matt Kiernan who isn't pictured.
HUGE birthday Shoutout to the .. thank you for willingly putting yourself in the way of a rounded disc flying in your direction repeatedly all so that you can tell the girls you play "college hockey". Only 365 days until your first alcoholic refreshment!
Ladies and gentleman of all ages and genders, meet Matthew Bentson, AKA “The Brewster Rooster” AKA “The Prudent Grad Student”. The 6’4” 220 lbs forward out of Brewster, NY has notched 11 goals this year (1 today in Dracut) and much to his chagrin, 2 assists. Matt joined the team upon realizing after 5 years of undergrad that he could live out his dreams of dancing for the NU club roller disco team, but instead it turned out to be roller hockey and the rest was history. Matt also encourages everyone to try to attack him on Clash of Clans (), as he boasts a level 119. Matt finished third in the 4th annual “Row Row Row Your Boat Heavily Up the Stream” rowing tournament while sporting a broken finger (see picture above). Matt has two overdue library books. Catch him and the rest of the boys at 6 o’clock in Dracut, MA as we take on cross-town rivals BU. (Broadcast on ESPN3)
Ladies and gents, it is a special man's birthday today, so of course he deserves the first of the year. Meet Nicholas Melvin, the 6'3 220 lbs Defenseman out of Bethel, CT. He currently stands at 2nd in points and 1st in assists in D2. After being asked about the Huskies impressive season so far, he eloquently responded with, "We're going to ass blast the ECRHA in regionals." Nick is a combined mechanical engineering and theatre major, hoping to make it big with a large firm or with the Rockettes in the future (they don't call him twinkle toes for nothin'). Ladies, if you need to find him tonight , he's on the instagrahams as and will also be at Connor Larkin's tonight challenging dweebs to Pokémon Sun battles on the Nintendo 3DS (BYO3DS). He'll be wearing his movie quality spider-man costume! Nick has been working on a soundtrack with Legendary composer Hans Zimmer for Planet Earth 3. You can hear him on the electric triangle and the digeridoo.
Hey everyone, it's 's birthday, so we thought we'd share his headshot from his Abercrombie and Fitch modeling days. That's his "I'm excited that the roller season starts this weekend" pose
The first of three tryouts will be held at 6:30 in Marino. Full pads required- See you then!
The Huskies have returned to Bawston after a long offseason and are embarking on their 15th season in the ECRHA. Junior Billy Hunt has taken on the role of Commander in Chief, making him the rare Presi-captain of the team. We will be hosting our first tryouts/ practices on September 20th and 22nd at 6:30 pm in Marino and the 24th at our home rink in Dracut, MA (vans provided) time TBA. We look forward to seeing all of the new and old faces then.
Check out El Capitan Billy Hunt doing some big things on 8 wheels down south (Watch around 1:50 for his goal)

The season may be over, but that doesn't mean the are- Fans, meet Gary Soeller, the 6'3 190 lbs lefty out of Albany, NY. Gare-bear just finished his last season in a Husky's uniform, but he'll proudly be wearing the red and black at every men's league game he plays in the future, also vowing to never wash them. Gary's scary manner on the tile is quite deceiving, as the casual Gary is a simple, lighthearted man that enjoys his disco music and the occasional sugar-free pastry when he's feeling a little edgy. His career has seen him in every position, including a brief and quite successful stint as goaltender (1 G, 23 GA). Gare-bear has trademarked the term "Soeller Power". He's been known to say this when describing his hockey acumen. "Plus," Gary says, "the ladies' rowing team digs it". Gary's future lies in San Diego, where he plans to get a doctorate in Computer Science, so if you all need someone to heal your sick computer, you know who to call.
Birthday alert! Ladies and gents (bust mostly ladies) your favorite captain on wheels William Hunt the First turns 21 today! Finally able to stay out past 10:15 on weekends without getting grounded by his mom!! Billy will be celebrating at Punters every night until April, so stop by for a cold soda on him.
