Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Derrick Woods-Morrow makes work that reflects on his experience growing up in the Black American South and centers on the exploration of Blacksexuality and the complex journey in navigating this discovery.

Join us for the Fall 2023 Tyrone Maurice Adderley Lecture featuring Sarah Elizabeth Lewis, the John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Humanities and Associate Professor of African and African American Studies at Harvard. Lewis will discuss Vision & Justice: A Civic Curriculum. The curriculum includes 31 texts on topics ranging from civic space and memorials to the intersections of race, technology, and justice.
This lecture will take place from v6:00-7:30pm in the Tower Auditorium, followed by a reception at 7:30pm in the DMC Atrium.

Our annual Alumni Panel will take place Tuesday, 3/21 @ 2pm in Massart's Kennedy Auditorium, room 406!

Following the panel, we'll all head over to the Banana Room (the second floor concourse of Tower) for the reception of Caterina & Julia's joint exhibition showcasing work from their travels, funded by their Gertrude Kasebier travel grants.
