Hi 👋🏼 it’s me. The world’s worst poster. I really have good intentions and then when I have to start thinking of a caption I end up like this little guy pictured above. 😴

I just added a studio and summer update on my Instagram story but I will add it here as well.

☀️My summer schedule is very limited - because, kids. Next week is my last week in the studio before I am away for a dance competition (not me dancing haha) so if you are looking for anything in the studio please reach out for an appointment next week. I will reopen July 9.

🌊Moving onto outdoors - I am open to book family and senior sessions at the beach or a mini session elsewhere. I do not do mini sessions at the beach but I have a park location on the water. I typically do not shoot in July just because of the high heat, bugs and crowds. I have some openings end of June and also August. If weather conditions are ideal, you will see me do a pop-up mini session from here to there so I will always post those on my stories.

🤩Lastly, I am working on something that I think many of you with younger kids will love more details to come soon and it will be launching in a few weeks! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Yep here I am posting valentine mini sessions after failing to post the 50+ fall and holiday sessions that I took. It’s always my intention to share but I try to hold off so as to not spoil Christmas cards but most of you post your photos before the card anyways but then it’s the end of December and ain’t nobody got time for that. 🫠

Fall is so busy that I always fall behind (sorry 😜) posting all the families I spent September & October with. It’s my favorite time of year especially when one of my fave families brings a new addition 🎀

I love giving each kid time with mom + dad. I imagine these images will be treasured more and more with each year that passes.

I’ve lost track of what year we are on for consecutive family photos but it’s a lot! And yes - I got 6 humans and 2 dogs looking at the camera 🙌🏼

You may be worried your kids won’t sit and smile during your family shoot. Well, you’re right - they won’t. Because that’s not what we do. I create a fun, playful environment for your kids so that they forget the camera is there and are allowed to be themselves. Ok well for 95% of the time. I definitely make sure we get that money shot 🤑

Senior Saturday 🌟
I’ve known Olivia since she was in elementary school so it’s hard to believe it was time for her senior photos! I love that she brought her sisters along. I always encourage families to join the session because chances are the next time you’re getting professional photos done will be at their wedding! 🫢

It’s been a while since I’ve had twins in the studio. These two were so chill just let me move them all around without a peep 🤩

Let’s talk siblings 😬

Many clients that are coming to me with their second or third or fourth or….no way- have a toddler at home that instantly became a big brother or sister. This is a huge change for them. Some dive right into that role by wanting to be the new baby’s mom and others could literally care less and may want nothing to do with their new baby bro or sis. You however, probably have a vision of so many sibling newborn photographs that you’ve seen where your old baby and new tiny baby are laying peacefully in a loving embrace. While that is possible (and quite possibly photoshopped) my job is to keep your expectations here in reality. I always start by trying for that laying down birds eye view of your darling children, but what happens next is out of all of our hands. I’ve seen it all. After a few attempts, even calling in Miss Rachel, I give big baby a break and focus on little tiny baby. We may skip that pose and try for something else. Yes, I have put pirates b***y & goldfish right next to tiny baby head and 9/10 times, guess who wants to go see tiny baby - big baby! So you will always leave with an image of both your babes in a photo. It may not be what you had in mind but you will for sure love it.

Baby B was such a good sleeper for his session. I really didn't want to give him back!
