Last weekend, Faith had her Regional Earth Day service day for - They had a beach clean-up at Carson Beach and created fun little potted plants for the community gardens!

Meditation Teacher Training Month 2! A weekend of Mindfulness practices!
Having Alli Barnes back again was truly invigorating! Her energy, her knowledge, and her life experience breathed new life into our discussions, merging the forefront of brain science with mindfulness in a way that was both compassionate and crystal clear. Plus the group got to meet Pete!
Completing our first weekend of training was a cozy, warm, immersive journey into various mantras, including AUM, OM, Ogham – spanning Celtic and Sanskrit traditions. We delved into Primordial Sound mantras, Sutras, and meditations focused on setting clear intentions for 2024. The experience aimed to seamlessly blend ancient wisdom with a regular everyday teaching approach - fostering deep self-awareness, life transformation, and profound soul awakening.
At our Meditation For Everyone teacher training, the emphasis is on you. We passionately believe that meditation is for everyone, striving for inclusivity as we provide tools for a healthier, happier, and more self-aware life.

This week’s theme is, “Moksha - Embracing Emotional Freedom,” drawing inspiration from the Sanskrit term we will be dropping “Sutras,” meaning stitch, thread, connection, or link.
In our flow and meditation class, we will explore sutras over the next few weeks to set subtle yet powerful intentions. Aligned with the seven chakras, these sutras connect with the body and a deeper awareness, facilitating the flow of vital life energy.

How it started 15 years ago vs. how it’s going entering 2024!
There are so many meditation techniques out there - they are doors to the same room - walking meditation, sitting, running, mantra, yoga, cooking. The real practice is AFTER you meditate.
* Are you more self aware?
* How much of your life are you missing out on, every day?
* How many moments do you zone out, hoping for better moments?
We’re constantly scrolling past the present moment, when THIS moment is all there is.
I found for the vast majority of students that take our Meditation Teacher Trainings, something GOOD happens in their lives. They feel better - in their relationships, their body… more authentically confident. Like they can better handle the stress of the day, or go with the flow more regularly and not flip out as much fighting the present moment.
The “big thing” in this training, is to continue to listen deeply to ourselves and our students. After a while, these students become our friends, and our community. And, we know how good it feels to listen and check in with our good friends.
We sit together, and have the intention to be as mindful as possible, as heartful as possible, as gentle with ourselves as possible. And just like yoga, your body will give you instant feedback.
This is the perfect training for anyone wanting to create REAL change. It’s for everyone - from people wanting to learn how to meditate deeply, to those wanting to share with friends and family, to educators dealing with the complexities of teaching K-12.

Join Alli, Andy, Rene, and Chloe in a 2024 - workday meditation challenge starting on January 3rd, 2024. (CLASSES are happening NOW if you’d like to join us and relax during the holiday season)
The challenge involves meditating 4 or 5 days a week, focusing on weekly themes to build consistency.
The goal is to explore various meditation styles throughout the year, fostering a supportive community and finding a practice that works for you.
I’m also really excited to bring back my combo move and meditate class on Tuesdays and Thursdays with I had better start stretching… I haven’t taught this class since 2020😜!
This initiative stems from TBB’s mission:
For the last 15 years my dharma has been simple and clear – make meditation accessible to as many average everyday people as I can so they can connect more fully to the present moment and feel happier in their lives. I teach because it makes me happier than anything in the world when I see people have that “Aha!” moment – when they finally get a little glimpse of who they really are beneath all that surface noise of thought and emotion. I hope to empower and guide students to trust their own inner-self; that real sense of knowing, in a way that brings them true, deep and grounded joy.

Love these snapshots of my nephews and my kids. They are all growing into such remarkable individuals - their grandparents would be so proud. Laughter continues to echo, after all these years, proving the Kelley/Lovell sense of humor is forever intact.
We are absolutely thrilled to share how incredibly proud we are of our daughter!
Her demeanor may be very quiet, but man she demonstrates such strength and determination in everything she does!

In 2024, TBB will be celebrating 15 years! As I reflect on this incredible journey, my heart is completely full with gratitude. 15 years is a long time. 15 years of shared breaths, open hearts, occasional settled thoughts, and tons of laughs together. THANK YOU each and every one of you who has found their path with me; whether it was for a single session or throughout the years becoming certified MFE GUIDES. Your trust, dedication, and willingness to explore the depths of your own awareness has been the driving force that keeps me going. I am truly honored to have spent these last 15 years in ur company.
People ask me what has changed in my life since I began teaching meditating. Well, I've witnessed a significant transformation - particularly in my ability to connect more authentically with myself. Making a good connection with someone starts with making a good honest connection with yourself.
Whether it's drawing insights from students in meditation classes, incorporating lessons taught to me from my workout crew & yoga sessions at or applying the wisdom often shared from my family & friends - especially Catharine, Hayden, and Faith - I wouldn’t have lasted two seconds without them; these practices have become invaluable in many aspects of my life.
Cultivating self-awareness has also taught me that creating meaningful connections is not confined to my sitting meditation practice. It extends to the pick-up line at school, the sidelines of a hoop game, and every aspect of our daily lives. This awareness is a constant practice, and its impact ripples through all our interactions.
