Chickpeas
Tahini
Lemon
Garlic
Salt, pepper, cumin
Ice water

Steps:
1. Soak and cook dried chickpeas until soft. Drain and blend until you have a thick puree.
2. Add tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Blend again and slowly stream in ice water.
3. Once smooth and creamy, taste the hummus and add more seasonings or lemon juice as needed.
4. Spoon hummus onto a large serving plate, add a garlic-lemon topping, and finish with a drizzle of oil, parsley, and paprika.

1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg

2. Combine dry ingredients
