This year, Anurakti - Touching lives with love is celebrating India’s 77 years of Independence. It will be an event in which more than 30 organizations across Pacific Northwest will join to celeberate India’s independence. In a carnival atmosphere, we will celebrate India’s culture, food, art, history and more importantly - “People of India”.

We would be humbled if you could take the time to join us for this amazing event and join hands with the community to hoist India's Flag in Snohomish County Campus.

We got an opportunity to support 2 families with with their Holiday wishlist this season.

We went back to the family we have been supporting for last 3 years. Unfortunately Michelle lost her life to cancer this year in March but we were happy to bring some cheer in the lives of her sons and husband Roberto. This is going to be our family forever.

We also supported a single mom, her daughter and dog.

Holiday celebrations for Anurakti Volunteers start only after helping other families.

One of our board member is a Road to Recovery driver for American Cancer Society for last 10 years, But today she did her first ride through Anurakti for a patient that had back to back two appointments. This is what she has to say about the time and efforts she put in.

"When I went to pick up Theresa today, she was anxiously waiting, a bit stressed but grateful for me to show up inspite the snow. I had a great time knowing her a bit during our car ride and helping ease some of her stress. What a great way to give back to the universe by helping folks who need it the most. So happy to Kickstart my first day off for the holiday season with this act of kindness. Thanks Anurakti for the opportunity."

Anurakti - Touching lives with love wishes everyone a wonderful holiday time with friends and family.

The team of Anurakti spend some time visiting the family they have been supporting for last 2 years.

Michelle is a fighter and we are so glad to help put together Christmas gifts for Roberto, Michelle and their 2 kids and see her again this year.

Michele is currently doing chemo treatments at Lifespring Cancer Treatment Center and hyperthermia therapy at Integrated Health Clinic in Canada.

The cookie orders are being delivered and all the hardwork of these kiddos is getting recognized.

The youth board kids spend their whole weekend baking cookies, and wrapping them with love so that they can make the Holidays special for families that are going through a hard and emotional time as they are tending to someone in their family going through cancer. These kids barely slept and the drive, the passion, and the kindness they had in their hearts while making these goodies was unmatchable.

They baked 150 gingerbread cookies, 130 pinwheel cookies, 4 Kladdkaka cakes and 45 cinnamon roles for 29 orders.

Thank you everyone who supported them with an order and also helped them with donations for their fundraising goals. 🙏

These little humans had a blast in August baking, packing, delivering and savoring the delicious cookies they made. They are ready to bake again this weekend and you can either pick up or get them delivered. Only for local Seattle folks. You can even order for your friends and families living in Seattle. Please help them make a big difference ❤

One of our youth board members, Anay Seth got a chance to meet and hear Shree Saini, the inspirational, beauty with a purpose human being. The first time he met her he came back home and read every single article published on her and his fondness and respect for her grew ten told. Shree, you might have many fans but this little boy is highly touched by your kindness, your fighting spirit and the love you carry in your heart.

He knows you will bring the crown. Best wishes on this last leg of your journey.
