Rags to riches!!!

What an amazing transformation. The old door let so much cold air into the house. Brand new pre hung all stained to match frame, doorpanel, trim, and wood sill really made the front of this house. Another happy customer! Doors were built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

OUT WITH THE OLD!!!

This old door needed to go. Replaced with a simple modern style door. And actually fit to size, to fill that gap the old door had at the top. Door built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

AMAZING!!!!

What a simple but totally different look. Interior and exterior matching stained trim look so good with all the brick. The 4 light glass panels in the front door bring in plenty of light to the once dark entry way. These doors were of course built by Franks Doors in Shoreline. 

STAINED ALL AROUND!!

What a great front door for this house. It is under a big covered area so the customer wanted more light in the entry way. A big glass panel, with matching interior and exterior stained wood trim. You can’t make this door look any better. Door was made by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

CLEARLY AMAZING!!!!!

What a beautiful clear coated full wood door. The matching brickmoulding, sill plate, and trim board under the sill plate really make this door stand out in the neighborhood. Bigger sidelights bring more light into the landing area. Also, going from a boring french door to a big 42” single door panel with bigger sidlights was a great choice that the homeowner wanted. They had a vision and it came to fruition. All around great door. The door was built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!

Just changing these doors to a simple shaker style panel is what this house needed. Getting rid of those glass block sidelights was a must. Sometimes simple is key. The dutch door in the back is a nice touch for this farm house. The doors were made by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

SOLID WOOD WEDNESDAY!!

This old hollow core exterior door just had to go. This new solid wood door with matching stained exterior trim was a monster upgrade. Door was built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

My customer really wanted to stand out from all of the other simple, painted doors in the neighborhood. I would say this did the trick.

A great simple fiberglass door with a full composite frame. Going from the old single pane glass in the sidelights and transom to new insulated double pane in a door this big will make a huge difference in energy bill, and sound. This door was built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

WHAT A BEAUTY!!!

BIG CHANGES!!!!

Solid wood!!!!

Nothing is more inviting to me than a solid wood door. Your front door should really be an eye catcher. This door brings in light to the hallway where there was none. Door was built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

MAKEOVER MONDAY!!!!

If this is not a huge upgrade then I do not know what is. The homeowners went to Franks Lumber in Shoreline and found the exact dutch door they wanted. They had the new screen door stained to match. Great door for the summer heat!

CHANGE IT UP A BIT!!!!

These homeowners did not want a door like everyone else on the block. They spiced it up with a great all wood door with matching stained frame and exterior trim. This door was made by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

FAKE WOOD????

You would never be able to tell this is not real wood. These fiberglass doors are great for damp areas, while still keeping the wood look. This door has a matching composite frame and exterior trim. I added bigger bolder interior trim to better match the baseboards inside. This THERMA-TRU door ordered through Franks Doors in Shoreline.

NEW OFFICE SPACE!!!!!

A lot of people are working from home now. Everyone is trying to find ways to have a quiet work space in their own home. I converted this archway into an extra tall french door.  I fully foamed around this interior door to help with sound proofing. I matched the trim to the other existing doors, while giving it a little more flair by extending the top trim board by 3/4 of an inch on each side. What a perfect display of elegant privacy. KNOTTY ALDER!!!!!

This old red door was on its last leg. This solid knotty alder door really changed the look of this house for the better. I also replaced the sill under the door due to ware and tare. WALNUT STAIN!!!!

BARGAIN BARN!!!!!

This customer walked into Franks Doors Bargain Barn in shoreline and fell in love with this custom one of a kind door. Had Franks build it with a matching frame and trim to tie it all together.

STAINED > PAINTED 🙌

Simple transformation. The old door as you can see could not “HANG”. Improper install led to door failure down the road. Proper shimming along with installing plum level and square will give your door longevity. Door built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

Soggy to solid!!!! 💧 💧 🛡 🛡

This customer came to me with a 4 year old door with rotting problems. With no cover at all along with being south facing, this door got hit with alot of water and was rotting the bottom of the frame. We ordered a fiberglass door with a composite jam and trim to protect against water. Along with a storm door to add more protection. The built in blinds are always a nice feature as well. Night and day difference!!! This clear stained shaker style front door and matching side door are by far a monster improvement. You have to love a good solid wood door. Door built by Franks Doors in Shoreline.

A door with the top 1/3 glass brings in so much more natural light in your entryway. Going from no light to this is a step in the right direction if you ask me.
